Perfect size for a small fire pit. The assembly instructions were by picture only… and one screw short but we were able to find one that fit. But otherwise everything went well. Easy to use and I love that it has a cover to keep rainwater out of it. We did use the grates also for some hot dogs. They were okay. Ended up using them more as warmer grates and used a homemade grate I had myself that went more directly on the fire for cooking. Provides beautiful ambiance. ... show more

Was a little difficult to assemble, but I am 76 years old. I had to take a lot of breaks as my back is not what it used to be. Over all though was not overly difficult. I had trouble with getting inside screws to line up. I ended up turning back upside down and taking off then turned back over and got inside screws started first, then turned back over and attached them to the bottom side. It's a nice, big fire pit with lots of ventilation. Assembly was easy, but the metal isn't exactly lined up for the screws. Easy to bend the metal to line up with the screw holes. The cooking grills might be useful if you don't have a grill to cook on, but they're kind of small and you have to use a pan or foil. It's 4 stars because the metal is a bit thin and I think it won't last long. ... show more
