I bought this to jam along with my guitar and listen to Tunes in the shower. I was concerned I couldn't find a small speaker that would be loud enough to do both. I searched through the various amazon offerings and reviews and no one quite described whether a SMALL Bluetooth speaker had enough punch or Clarity and tone. It replaced an sound Works o o n t z & altec Lansing speaker which were marginally acceptable never gave enough feeble battery life and weak Bass. The Ortizan was loud enough to play along to a small practice amp and is very user friendly. While it does not have individual base tremolo or equalizer settings it definitely kicks out enough base mid-range clear tone for your shower rockstar audition. The Bluetooth connectivity is great and you can put an SD card in to listen to your own music list without concern of bluetooth connectivity or the annoying YouTube onslaught of commercials in between songs. One charge gives very impressive performance without recharging frequently. The gimmicky lights are amusing but not necessary and probably a drain on the battery versus augmenting battery life for music which is why I bought this speaker in the first place. I've put it outside by my pool & in my golf cart and it is plenty loud enough to piss off the neighbors. lol for the money it was a great value and I am pleased. ... show more

This Bluetooth speaker works great! It is easy to pare up my devices; is fully portable; has great sound quality; and doesn't take up a lot of space. I've used it in the kitchen while cooking/cleaning; in the tub while soaking; and in my room while getting ready to go out. Battery life is good too.

I really like these speakers. At the price for the pair, I bought two speakers. So far, I'm glad I did. The first pairing with my phone was easy, pairing between the two speakers took a little longer, but once all paired the first time, they now pair up automatically every time. Just turn each speaker on and you're listening to music. I like the sound of the paired units. It isn't true L/R stereo, but it really provides depth to the music. The 3 click equalizer button provides sound in vocal, 3D, and extra bass. I personally like the bass for most music, but the 3D sounds right with some songs or watching movies. Vocal is good for books and phone conversations which work well on these speakers. The volume will hurt you ears if you crank them up. I've had JBL and Tribit portable speakers and find these comparable to Tribits. I actually prefer these over Tribits because of the light weight, ease of pairing and other features. I keep them in my garage workroom and throw them in my 1999 pickup to listen to music when I'm out driving around. The speakers are really light weight and waterproof and are perfect for the beach, boating, backyard, or parties. They also have colored lights that sync with the music if that matters. ... show more

I purchased the Ortizan Bluetooth Speakers to use for movie nights on our patio and listening to music both in and outdoors. I've really enjoyed them so far. I have a covered patio on which I hang a screen to watch movies. I have one Bluetooth speaker, but I really wanted two to achieve the "drive-in ambiance" I was seeking. With the help of some carabiners, I hung the speakers on each side of the screen so the sound would project outward. It sounded great! The volume can get quite high without distortion. The quality is more than sufficient for my needs. With them being IPX7, I can leave them out even if we get a light rain without them getting ruined if I don't have time to take them in. I've tested how long the battery lasts with the flashing lights turned on. I've gotten about 15 hours before the very annoying "beeping" or a "cutting out sound" starts. I read about the beeping in other reviews, not only for this one but for other manufacturers as well. I have no idea what is up with that. Why tick off customers with that? I don't know how much juice was left in the battery because I couldn't stand listening to this annoyance for very long. At first, I thought it was notifications from my phone. Sadly, no. I didn't test how long the battery lasts without the lights on, but it would obviously be longer. Getting one speaker connected via Bluetooth was pretty easy. It was getting two of them paired that was an issue. One reviewer mentioned that you need to remember which one you connected via Bluetooth first and always connect that one first to avoid issues. Once I finally remembered that, I haven't had an issue connecting and pairing them since. I selected a bright carabiner color to attach to the speaker that I need to connect to Bluetooth first. Then I turn on the other speaker to pair them. Has worked 100% of the time so far. I even connected the speakers to my projector without a hitch. So that was a bright spot. I've also connected it to my Smart TV without issue. I'm very satisfied thus far with the quality, durability and sound. I would never use the speakers for 15 or even 10 hours straight, so having to charge them in between is no problem to avoid the low battery annoyance. My 3-year-old great-niece enjoyed listening to Disney music while playing in the yard sprinkler! When I took the speakers down, she wanted to help carry one but ended up dropping one on the patio. It still works fine, so I can say it can at least withstand a drop on concrete. If you don't need high-end sound quality, these are great for the price point. I ordered the blue color and love it. I also like the design of it and that it is mostly waterproof. The flashing lights can provide a fun atmosphere especially when used at a party. The kids like it too! ... show more
