I purchased on 7-7-22 through Amazon for a European trip. I charged and tested it once and it worked fine charging my iPhone 12 And iPad Pro. Would have given it a 5 star rating then. On the trip it worked fine the first time I used it. Then it would not charge my phone even though the LED light showed the charger was fully charged. When I plugged it into my phone and activated the charging function my phone battery icon showed it was being charged for about a second and then the charging icon disappeared and no charging occurred. Tried to charge the phone the same way I had successfully charge my phone the first two times. I tried to charge it multiple times over several days with no success. Also charged the charger again but still did not work. The cables are intact and tight. Others on the trip tried to help/use but with no success. I ended up using someone else’s charger during the day. Upon return from the trip I tried to use it on my iPad with no success. Because the test use worked I did not keep the paperwork and packaging so I am not sure if I can get a replacement. Right now I have a $99 paperweight. If durability and long term use is important you may want to consider a different charger; otherwise keep your paperwork and be prepared to submit a claim. ... show more

I’ve always had batteries with detachable cords and seem to never have the one I need (I blame the kids). I finally invested in this one which is more expensive than the others I’ve purchased but it’s made life easier for sure. Gave each kid my old batteries and am hiding this one from them.
