🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The portable charger reviewed here provides medium speed wireless and cord charging capability. Many users find it practical for travel given its ability to hold charge for an extended period and serve as a powerful backup battery. However, doubts have been raised about its advertised battery capacity and its size and weight seem to be of concern.

Pros

  • 🔋 Adequate wireless and cord charging.
  • ✈ Great for travel usage due to long battery life.
  • 🔌 Can be used as both a corded wireless charger and a cordless power bank.

Cons

  • ⚖ It is heavier and bulkier than some users expected.
  • 🔢 The advertised battery capacity seems to be overstated according to some users.
  • 🔌 There are specific cable requirements for corded charging.

Should I Buy It?

If the need is for a durable, high-capacity power bank that also functions as a wireless charger, and the size and weight are not deal breakers, then this product is a strong candidate. However, the user should be ready to compromise on the charging speed and also be aware of specific cable requirements for corded charging.

  • Looks Chinese and Generic, but it's a Gem!
Color: Blue
I would have glossed over this device since generic Chinese devices are often low quality or have privacy issues, but my co-worker recommended it and this device seems to work great. My co-worker bought 3 of these for him and his family over a year ago and he says they're still going strong. I've discharged mine (sometimes completely) multiple times and it takes a full charge again, reliably. It seems to be compatible with both iPhones and Android (I have an older Samsung Note 9 with an unreliable USB-C charging port). The wireless charging is the fastest I've had and the only device I've had that makes my phone say "Fast Wireless Charging". It's noticeably faster than my other wireless charger which was faster than the one before that. I love the "IN" and "OUT" indicators since I can't always trust my cables or other chargers. It also has an indicator for wireless charging which helps if you're still trying to figure out where your device's wireless charger connects. It's pretty clear where you put the device to be charged on this device because there's a rubber ring affixed to the surface of this device which has also been invaluable for holding my phone in place whether I'm on a bumpy bus ride, or in my bumpy car, or in my pocket (gets a little warm in my pocket, but it works fine). It gives priority to wired devices over wireless, but it seems to be able to do both of the wired device isn't drawing too much power. You can tell from the display (see my picture with everything except the PD indicator lit up) if wireless charging is working. Wired charging is really fast, too. My daughter's iPhone charged from 4% to 75% in less than an hour (I didn't keep track of the exact time). If you want to disable wireless charging (to be sure it isn't going to accidentally try to charge something in your pocket?) you can double-click the power button and the screen will go blank indicating that the device is off (wired charging can't be turned off, but if the cable is unplugged, it is pretty obviously not charging). It seems to like to charge from PD the fastest. Is got a high capacity battery inside and it will take hours to fully charge if it's dead, but PD makes it go noticeably and significantly faster. You don't have to fully charge it - against the better recommendation in the instructions, I eagerly drained the 23% or so that it was shipped with and haven't regretted it. I would highly recommend this device. It wasn't very expensive, either. ... show more

  • Works Great!
Color: White
I got this for a concert where I was having to be at the venue from 8 am until 12 am & it got me through the entire day on one charge. I actually still had more charge time left over. I charged my phone twice, my friends phone, & my sisters phone, plus my AirPods. It’s on the heavier side, about the same size as an iPhone 13, the display is easy to read until you’re charging something wirelessly, but the quality is amazing! ... show more

  • Fast charging. A little bulky, but not excessively so.
Color: Black
This is the fastest of my current wireless charging options for my Samsung phone. I have other 15w wireless chargers, but this one seems to charge about 20% faster than those. Overall, I'm happy with this one. Great for home, car or trip, but it's a little bulky for just carrying around in your pocket. ... show more

  • Strong
Color: Black
I am amazed at this charger, of all the chargers I've used, this one surprised me with the wireless charger, it is fast for me, the charger I use to have charged my Pixel 7 in like 3 to 5hrs, and this one is like 1 hr and a few minutes, I can do like 3 full charges with this power bank, its a bit heavy and fat, but still slides into my pockets without falling out, (if you wear cargos like me), I love have seeing my phone at 70% and taking a quick bath and seeing at 95% in like a few minutes. ... show more

  • Great battery pack, magnetic charge even works with iPhone 8 plus
Color: Black
I panicked when my iPhone 8 Plus’s lightning port stopped charging, then I learned that the 8 plus was the model when Apple started including MagSafe charging in it. I purchased this power bank primarily for the size and the magnetic charging capability. When it arrived it was at 34% power, but it was able to get my phone back up to a relatively good power level using magnetic charging much faster than I typically could with a lightning cable. The capacity of the battery is huge, so it took overnight to charge it to 100% via the USC-C input — I recommend that you use a high output brick (eg, 2.1 A output, not 1.0 A like the older bricks are) to get it charged faster. The battery has to be initially on in order for the magnetic charging to start, you can’t just put the phone on it and expect the battery to auto-detect that it’s there when it’s off. I found that it does NOT do magnetic charging of a phone when you are charging the battery pack— this is a minor inconvenience since I can always use the battery to completely charge my phone and THEN plug in the USB-C cable to charge the battery. The digital display gives an exact charge value, and I found that if I had my phone off and let it charge, my iPhone 8 Plus’s battery would go up about 4% for every 1% change in the battery pack’s charge. That theoretically means 4 complete charges before the pack is drained, though I typically don’t let it get that low to find out. The construction of the battery pack seems solid, and although it warms up slightly if you are doing magnetic charging, it doesn’t get hot to the touch. It IS a bit chunkier than most battery packs, about the size of a iphone plus with the thickness of a deck of cards, but I don’t mind that since you’re getting such a huge battery. The unit comes with a tiny USB-A to USB-C cable, so realistically you’ll need your own longer cable to charge it if the brick is more than a few inches from the battery. All in all, I’m very pleased with my purchase. I’ve only had it two days, but right now I recommend it if you are looking for a decent portable magnetic charger for an older iphone or other standard Qi devices. 9/24/23 update: Two weeks in and the battery pack is still going strong. One thing to note: I have a non-MagSafe (but thin) Speck case for my phone and it charges through that. There’s no magnetic click so you have to line things up right (basically just flush the edges of the iPhone with the battery), but it charges well. I’m guessing that it might click with a MagSafe case, but I’m just guessing, I don’t know for sure. So if you don’t have a MagSafe case, you need to make sure that the iPhone doesn’t move around while it’s charging wirelessly. I just lay it right on top of the battery as it lies flat on the table and it works just fine. I’m still very happy with this purchase, and can’t believe the price — I saw wireless batteries with 1/8th the capacity selling for more at Target. ... show more

  • Charges fully and quickly.
Color: Pink
This portable charger is bigger then some but it will keep my device charged fully through multiple charges. I'm on my phone consistently overnight through a 10 hour shift. Most times I forget to charge the charger and it still works. I have a galaxy s24. Plus I've charged a tablet and my ear buds also. It has multiple USB A and USB C ports. It's very much worth the extra size and weight. Oh and it comes in multiple colors. ... show more
