will be used in a hospital situation: liked: -quality control, they put the test print inside to prove a point. -fit and finish seems good. -connectivity seems to give a lot of options Blu tooth, USB B connection, WiFI, Ethernet and good old fashion Serial port... or is it weird Centronics? Takes standard 3 1/8 paper, it comes with a starter rolls but I think I could get a 3" roll in there ... show more

So I never had a thermal printer before this. Now that I have one I got to say this is awesome. I recently opened an Etsy shop and wanted a way to print out receipts and found this online. This thing is really awesome and works right out of the box with little necessary setup. It also has Wi-Fi which I think is really interesting although I couldn't figure the Wi-Fi part out. The way I have it set up is hooked into my PC with USB and it works pretty flawlessly. I love the fact that I'll never have to get ink again especially since my manufacturer of my ink printer has decided to lock us out of using third party Inc. My experience with this has been very positive and I have it set up with Shopify and running through Square as well. I like that when you open it it has a pre-printed test page to show that it's already been used and running and working giving you peace of mind. I think for the asking price this as well worth it since you'll never have to invest in ink again or cartridges. Great product ... show more

This thing is setup in the most basic of ways, if you now how these systems work it should be a breeze for you. But this is NOT beginner friendly. But wifi and Bluetooth work great. I dont really recommend this for people who are new to these things.

    • Quality receipt printer for heavy duty use
MUNBYN is a well known name in POS accessories and this is a seriously burly thermal receipt printer. My wife is using it in her yoga studio but it would be best suited for a restaurant or coffee shop, or maybe some industrial oriented setting. It offers several connectivity methods including wi-fi and can interface with Square very nicely. In fact, it integrates with a number of POS platforms thanks to the multiple connectivity options. The thermal printing is clear and quick (300 mm/s) and it can be mounted on the wall or a stand or just sit on a desk or counter. It has a large capacity which means you don't need to change the paper every few hours. It even has a buzzer alarm to alert employees to new orders in a busy, loud environment. The quality is decent enough to make playing games built for this from itch.io pretty interesting! It is possible to dial in the DPI settings in Windows, but the way this is done is done in a very stupid way, IMO and it would've been nice to not have to do it in this manner. But... it works, and that's all that matters. I wanted to try this out for gaming purposes before I went to using it as a PoS printer. ... show more
