    • Mice Problem In My Shop
I had a pretty bad mice problem in my shop. Nest were pretty bad in old storage areas. Did a deep clean, took all the nest out sprayed everything with bleach, scrubbed the shelf’s. They still came back, I was having what I called a rat war. For a couple days, how ever long I was waiting for this stuff I was catching them in my traps every night. Ordered this stuff and I sprayed 3 squirts on every spot I felt like they came in and not one hit the traps till 3 days later. If you take the nest out it will definitely work. They will not come back, I’ve heard people say it doesn’t work I feel it won’t work if you don’t take there old homes out, nor clean up they p00. make sure to spray every couple days and clean the area and you’ll be mice/rat free 👍 ... show more

    • Powerful and Effective!
I recently purchased Mighty Mint Gallon Insect & Pest Control Peppermint Oil to help with some minor bug issues, mainly ants, in the spring and summer. This product is robust, and indoors, less is more. After using it, I noticed that it started to effectively push the ants away from the house and yard. Additionally, I decided to try it out to help keep the mosquitoes away since my neighbors have a pool, and it's been quite humid lately. To my delight, it worked wonderfully in reducing the mosquito presence around our area. I'm thoroughly impressed with this product and will likely repurchase it.     • Sprayer doesn't work
I just used this product so I don't know how effective it is. However the sprayer did not work in spite of repeated attempts. I had to empty and clean out a sprayer bottle I already had and use that.

    • Best Product On The Market for Insects & Pests
When living in Portland around clubs & restaurants I used this product and found it to be excellent in keeping out and at bay insects & pests. Now that we are living back in Texas we have been recently inundated by flies. All around the doors to the house. Stick strips help to kill them but not get rid of them. This product does just that. I sprayed the brick around the front door and the door itself and have not seen one single fly. Yesterday they were all over the entry way. This peppermint is strong so I suggest using it sparingly until you come up with just the right amount for you. I also put it inside in the corners of the rooms. It is pleasant in smell and it keeps bugs away. It's good also to just spray around the perimeter of your home to keep away any mice, etc. An EXCELLENT PRODUCT! ... show more

    • Decent deterrent but won’t cure an infestation.
I’ve used this product for both insect and rodent problems and my overall verdict is this: it’s decent at both but it’s too weak to deal with a serious problem. Here are my personal experiences with each pest I’ve used it on: Mice - this stuff definitely seems to deter mice but if they’ve already set up camp in your home, it won’t agitate them enough to leave permanently. I sprayed an area where I saw a mouse come into my room, and I saw with my own eyes the mouse run in, and then immediately turn around and run out. Wasn’t until we zapped it with a kill trap though for the problem to be dealt with. Ants - ants DO NOT care and were the least affected out of all the pests I tested this on. At best they’ll stay away for a moment but will be back in full force the moment the scent dies down, or will simply change routes undeterred. We had a crazy ant infestation and they were crawling all over the house, in our beds, everywhere. This stuff did absolutely nothing to help the problem. We eventually won the battle by spraying Raid on several of their trails and placing several Raid Ant Baits around key areas but mint doesn’t seem to do as much to stop ants as people claim. Spiders - spiders won’t like this but again, it’s not going to help with even a mild infestation. I tried to use this to get rid of a mess load of Cellar Spiders in our basement, and it didn’t produce the results I would have liked. I found Ortho Home Defense to be more effective at both deterring and killing them. Squirrels - We had a couple of squirrels tear into our attic recently and I furiously blasted the last of my mint spray up there in retaliation. To its credit it did seem to cause them to flee for a day, but they were determined to make our attic their home, and came back the very next day when the scent died down. We ended up blasting loud music and throwing the last of my essential oils up there to get them out and then seal up the entrances. Flies, Mosquitoes and Crane Flies - most flying insects don’t seem to like the scent but I repeat myself, it’ll only last for maybe 1 or 2 days. Mosquitoes and Crane flies were getting into my house through the Air Conditioner during the summer so I sprayed the crap out of the back end of my AC outside and it seemed to help for a while. Some sticky blue light traps would probably be a better alternative for indoors and a bug zapper would probably be better outdoors. It’s best use in my opinion is as a holistic deterrent if you don’t mind reapplying it regularly and is especially effective against rodents, but it won’t save you from an infestation and there are much better alternatives for insects. ... show more

    • Spring pest swarms of gnats, etc - gone inside and out
With recent rain and a busy life, I noticed a multitude of small flying insects that came in thru the screens and open doors.. but I did not notice that an abundance of new weeds growing on the side of my yard, and it had "zillions" more of these tiny bugs.. spraying this was not only easy with the spray nozzle. I used the mist option to hit more bugs, because of the non toxic fine mist it spread over the plants and their tiny flying visitors.. Relief - this plant based, non toxic spray also worked on the patio and outdoor curtains that had hundreds of these little bugs plus a few big fly friends as well - I did not spray it inside the house, but.. oddly enough, all those inside gnatty visitors seemed to decrease to almost nothing within a day of spraying outside.. - I have already bought my second gallon and will continue to use this going forward ! Thank you for a great product.... and in case I forgot to mention .. since this is plant based, mint used in the formula and not only safe for pets and people.. but dang this makes everything smell clean and the bugs/gnats whatever is flying inside my house don't seem to be anywhere , anymore! ... show more
