    • The Compact Solution To Your Dishwashing Needs!
It has been a very long time since I have had the luxury of using a dishwasher. Around ten years ago, my brand-new full sized dishwasher simply quit powering on. After many unsuccessful attempts at repairing it, I simply gave up on the idea of having a dishwasher. So, for the last ten years, I have washed my dishes by hand while simultaneously being tormented by the empty shell of my nonfunctional dishwasher. When I came across this countertop dishwasher from Midea, I was immediately intrigued, and just knew that I had to try it for myself. Right out of the box, I was able to tell that this dishwasher was of premium quality. The unit itself feels very solid, and well constructed overall. The control panel is very clearly laid out, works great, and feels very premium. The basket itself is very thoughtfully designed, and is actually able to accommodate full sized dinner plates up to ten inches in diameter. There is a separate hanging basket for utensils, and the cup and bowl storage was very nicely laid out. This little dishwasher does everything a full size dishwasher can do at a fraction of the size, and cost. Not only that, but it cleans just as effectively. The smaller profile allowed the dishwasher to fit perfectly on my countertop. After using the dishwasher for several days now, I can safely say that I much prefer having the dishwasher up high on my countertop. The reason being is that I don’t find myself having to bend over to load and unload the dishwasher. Operation of the dishwasher is really quite simply. Attach the included faucet adapter to your sink, then connect the hoses from the dishwasher to the adapter. The adapter serves as both the dishwasher’s water supply, and as the drain for the dishwasher. From here, load the dishwasher with your dishes and detergent, select your desired run cycle, and let the dishwasher work its magic. The result is perfectly clean dishes, every time. There are a total of eight wash cycles to choose from, depending on how soiled the dishes are. Overall, I could not be any more satisfied with this countertop dishwasher from Midea. This is a very premium unit at a great price overall. It works perfectly, and leaves my dishes sparkling clean. This countertop dishwasher can be used in many different scenarios, making it a very versatile and viable solution to your dishwashing needs. I cannot recommend it enough. ... show more

    • A Good Dishwasher
I got this dishwasher to try it out in my RV. I was impressed with its ability to clean dishes with such little amount of water. I do scrape any food off the dishes before use so that may help with the results of having clean dishes every time. I do find the connection to the faucet a little strange you have to take the aerator out and then attach the quick-release adapter. It is nice that there is a quick release so you don't have to hook it up and unhook it on the regular but, if you want to use this on the regular I would try to find a better way to connect the water in so you have a normal faucet. I think this would work great for a built-in cabinet since it is square whereas a lot of other portable dishwashers I’ve seen have rounded edges. It does seem like it is a more expensive portable dishwasher and I really can’t find where the increased value for the price of the product is. Maybe, the value comes from the 8 different wash cycles but I’ve never needed more than a normal cycle. If you like the looks and the features of the dishwasher this could be the perfect dishwasher for you. ... show more

    • Works like a full-size dishwasher, just smaller. Not too big or heavy to move about if needed.
I honestly didn’t know they even made a countertop dishwasher until I found this one on Amazon. We spend most weekends at the lake on our boat in the summer. We frequently cook on the dock and even when we use paper plates and disposable cutlery, we have dishes to wash. Our boat has a fairly small sink and limited kitchen counter tops so it’s not fun to wash dishes there. I found this dishwasher and couldn’t wait to get it. I finally got a chance to try it out this weekend. The door has a solid feel to it and snaps shut just like a full size one. Likewise the dish rack rolls out smoothly and is built much like a traditional dishwasher. It even has a silverware basket. The rack is small, it’s nothing like a full-size built-in model. But if you don’t have room for a full size one, this is a great alternative. You’ll just have to run it a little more often. It has a soap dispenser and a rinse agent tank just like a full-size model. The controls are very easy to use. It has a display that has a graphical display that lets you know what mode and functions are selected. There is a count-down timer in the center that tells you how much time is left in the cycle. When the dishwasher is running, it is very quiet. It’s honestly on-par with a high quality, built-in dishwasher. It is surprisingly quiet, especially for a countertop model. On a normal cycle, it took about 2:20 minutes to complete. The dishes came out clean and dry. It sure beats hand washing the dishes. ... show more
