I have a tiny kitchen in my apartment. I never thought I could get a dishwasher. Lately the skin on my hands have become real sensitive in my old age & washing the dishes aggravates it. I saw an ad on FB for a mini countertop dishwasher. I didn’t know there was such a thing! As I looked on Amazon for more details I saw that it said ( the one I first looked at) that it could not tale a plate larger than 9.5 inches. That won’t fit my dinner plates. So I kept looking & found this one. The dimensions ( w/d) are slightly smaller than the other one, but this one was taller. Yay. Plus the reviews said you could stack up quite a few dishes in it and would work well for a 2 or 3 person family. Bingo! I ordered this Novette and I just love it! So simple & easy to use. You don’t even have to hook it to your faucet the ( you can if you want to). You can pour water right into the top just like your making coffee. Press the button & she go! I’m so so happy. overall the product works for cleaning dishes. unless you have a faucet that a garden hose can connect to you will need to purchase an adapter. I did purchase the adapter and connect my dishwasher to the faucet when i use it. with that said, I turn the cold water on to run the dishwasher and the dishwasher heats up the water itself. At first, I did not care for the design of the dishwasher but i have learned to load it so it doesnt matter. the large plates have to be positioned toward the door and the smaller plates can be positioned in the plate rack toward the back right of the dishwasher. dont expect to put cups on the "shelf". i dont know what kind of cups would fit there but my small glasses and small coffee cups do not fit on the shelf. i use the shelf for spatulas and larger utensils that can fit there as long as its not too long. as far as cleansing power goes, it does a very good job of cleaning even stuck on food on the normal wash cycle. the quick wash is only for items needing sanitizing but are otherwise clean. i usually make sure my coffee mugs are wiped out as it doesnt always get all the coffee stain out so i found it best to just wipe it out before washing. i dont use the dry cycle because i dont feel the need to bake my dishes for an hour. my dishes are very hot and nearly dry right after the wash cycle so i pause n then press power key to turn it off in order to bypass dry cycle. i use liquid detergent in the dispenser and put a little extra in the bottom of dishwasher. i have noticed the upper arm gets stuck often in the beginning of the cycle but it eventually unsticks itself and continues to move the rest of cycle. no idea why it happens. for me it works great. i usually run a few loads to get all my dishes clean. i can put most of my pans in there except one that is too big. in one load i can usually wash 4 bowls, 4 small salad plates, 3 coffee cups (or small juice glasses) and silverware basket.my 4 10" dinner plates i wash in a separate load and they do fit along with 3 very small cookie sheet type pans that fit in small toaster oven and thats it. i normally wash my four coffee cups and four small juice glasses in one load. I do recommend. its way better than handwashing. ... show more

This is my first ever dishwasher and I love it saves me water as a household of 6 washing dishes takes forever and uses alot of water, I love the tank feature allows me to have a sink faucet free and I have the hose in case I ever do want to hook it up. The drying is good but if you have cups or bottles that have a little divot on the bottom water can pool there and won’t dry that first drying cycle. Washes like a dream baby mode is great for really greasy things and one of my other favorite features is it doesn’t need hot water cold does fine because it heats up the water so no running my water heater using hot water for those really greasy dishes. This is a great little dishwasher! A lot of things will fit in there, of course not at the same time. I was even able to fit a large crockpot in by itself and it came out sparkling clean. However… When I received the dishwasher and set it up on the kitchen counter, I saw water spots on the inside of the door and the inside walls. There was also discoloration to the drain inside the dishwasher. This tells me that it wasn’t brand new (I paid for a brand new product and even bought the warranty)! Yes, I took pictures. When I contacted Amazon, I didn’t get “any” help and no one answered “any” of my questions. I was simply told to send it back. There’s something wrong here. Again, the dishwasher is fabulous, but it’s obviously not brand new and I paid for brand new. It was not cheap and I feel swindled. It’s the principal of the whole thing. ... show more
