It doesn't have as prominent results for old scars but for a new scar it works really well. Start using it as soon as possible once the skin is healed over!

I had to stop using this due to intense itching. My skin isn’t particularly sensitive, I’ve never experienced anything like this. No matter how thin a layer I applied, it remained sitting on top of the skin. After it dried it could too easily have been peeled off. I only used it about a month and didn’t notice any change in the appearance of the scar ... show more

This gel leaves a white residue on everything. Flakes off and does not provide much protection. I’m not sure how it can help the scar when it does not stay on. The patches work way better. I tried to use it on my face for a scar and it looked like I had sticky, white stuff dried and flaking off my scar. Gross! Go with the patches! ... show more

    • a lot looser than I'd like when starting,but it works really well
I got 11 stitches in my forehead,and doctors made it sound like I'd have a frankenstein scar-you knotw,really long,at an angle, trying to be straight,but it's still a little crooked.Now you can barely see most of it,and I'd probably laugh and say I've got a nice hard head.
