And the material has holes to make it breathable against the mattress. No more waking up in a sweat, which is a big plus for anyone sharing the bed with a partner who is a furnace. The durability seems solid so far. It’s held up without any signs of sagging or indentations, which is more than I can say for some other options. My actual mattress is a Casper and I put this on top. It's really changed it to make it better. In the spirit of honesty, the only minor gripe is the initial smell when you first unpack it. I am an oven when I sleep and have been surprised that this does actually help me stay a little cooler then others I've had in the past. The support is amazing. Not too firm or too soft. I have a really old mattress and unfortunately do not have the money to buy a new one so I figured I'd give this a try since I did have one like it in the past. This has made it feel like a whole new bed. I am so pleased that I was able to get this at a great price and even better it actually feels like it cost so much more. What I liked: Just firm enough to give support yet soft enough to let you sink in a little and enjoy the comfort you can only get with gel foam. I slept better the first night and the following week and am mad I didn't buy this a year ago! I also liked that it aired out quickly and without much odor that you often get with compressed foams. The other thing I liked was that I felt cooler than normal, and while I'm not sure, I think it might be from the ventilation holes as shown in the 2nd picture. I was sceptical about the thickness at first looks but it gave it a few hours to expand. I had the best sleep in months, after a hard workout I felt like I was on a cloud, I could literally fall asleep on any side. Best quality I've ever seen. I kinda ripped some of the foam when unboxing so be careful with the box cutters when taking it out the bag. No smell super easy to set up. Bye bye back pain. ... show more
