These are VERY easy to install. It look me less than 10 minutes for two windows. I do wish the blinds themselves were thicker, these are kind of flimsy… but they work for the room I needed them in.

They do fit in between my double windows, and will stay clean in there, and not get knocked down by the kids. And they are easy to install. Thats about all the good i can say about these. There is a big gap at the top, which is just annoying. They don't close all the way, and let in a ton of sunlight if they are rolled facing you the normal way. If you roll them facing out they keep out most of the sunlight, except where the holes are for the string. But rolled facing out, like iv had to do, they also don't keep people from seeing in so well. My window is about 5 feet off the ground, and facing the street. My husband tested from outside... He can see in very well from right under the window, and even about 20 feet from the house he can still see in to some degree!! Iv had to put privacy film on the bottom half of the window!! Rather defeats the main purpose of window blinds, don't you think?! 😖 ... show more

    • Install was a little tricky
I had a little trouble with getting the tension right and once I did it was a struggle to get the blinds in place. More than once the blinds popped out. The final time the tension screw flew across the room along with the internal spring. Basically, I broke it. However, I was still able to get the blind in place securely and it seems to be working just fine. Maybe having a second set of hands would have been helpful. ... show more

My first order of this item was not the right size (43'Wx64"W). That one was my own fault. So I ordered again for the smaller size which I was sure would fit my window (there isn't anywhere that states exactly how to measure or how big the blinds are with the springs activated and deactivated plus the cushion pads etc). I open the box and go to set it up and it DOES NOT FIT! I still have the first order I made since I haven't returned it yet, so I decided to measure both of them together side by side and they are BOTH the same size even though my second order is supposed to be the next size down (39"Wx64"H)! I decided to just give up on even trying these because it's become too much of a hassle. Now I have two blinds to return. If you're lucky enough to get the correct size I think these blinds would work pretty nicely for someone like me that lives in an apartment and doesn't want to damage the walls. I just really wish I could have gotten a chance to experience them on my window. I'll just have to go the curtain route and make some holes in the wall. :( ... show more

no more drill holes! our old window frames looked like swiss cheese. these are sturdy and so easy to install. unfortunately they are sold out again. we need more.
