I really don't want to have to replace my door so I got this kit to make a few adjustments. You would've thought it was a new system with how well it's working now after I made the replacements. It seems like it's a good kit that works like it should.

I have a three car garage with individual doors but door number 1 gets way more use than the other three. All three doors are 8foot tall doors. I have changed the rollers in the doors probably about 4 times of their life of 23 years so far. The main door was getting pretty load on opening and closing so as I was looking to get new rollers I saw this combo package and decided maybe it was time to change the hinges as well. Am glad I did as when I took the old hinges off I realized that 23 years of them going up and down over and over, had loosened the hinges as well. Was easy to swap out. Only advise is to do it with the door up so there is no spring tension on the door panels and only take one hinge off at a time. Also on changing the bottom roller, remember that is where the spring tension cable is attached so make sure you don't do this with the door down or partially down. Yes, I was an idiot and did the first one with the door half down and when I took the last screw out the bracket flung big time. Lets just say I learned my lesson and when I did the other side the door was all the way up and there was no tension on the bracket. Went much easier. When all done, the door is solid and quiet again. I didn't use the top bracket or the bottom bracket as they didn't' fit my door and since those are just brackets and not hinges, I just used what was on the door as there is no real wear on them. Also I didn't use the new screws as they were metric and the overall diameter was bigger than what I previously had and I didn't want to drill the holes larger so I just reused my previous screws which were in fine shape. I used the rollers from this set to replace all of the old ones on my garage door, and it opens and closes much more smoothly and quietly than it did previously. The nylon rollers, with sealed bearings, work very nicely, and appear to be sturdy enough to last many years. The cables included are pre-cut for a door that works with torsion springs. My door has extension springs, so these were of no use to me. I was eager to replace the old, rusty, noisy hinges with these new ones; but found that they are the wrong size, and are not compatible with the door -- and are not what I thought I was ordering. I ordered this set because it was listed as "Green Hinges System." Green Hinges are a proprietary system that uses spring-loaded hinges to help seal the door to the frame. These are just standard hinges -- NOT Green Hinges -- and should not be listed as such. The set is described as being a complete hardware replacement: "all the necessary components for a comprehensive garage door repair, including a sturdy replacement bracket, durable track, and a high-quality door replacement"; but does not include the listed "durable track", or "door replacement" (which I did not expect, but should not be part of the item description). The set also does not include the bottom (lifting) brackets, which would be part of any "comprehensive garage door repair" that included rollers, hinges, and top brackets. These hinges are for a commercial door -- not a common, residential garage door. You might be able to make them fit, but they are not appropriate, and may cause damage to the opener or door. The claim that, "Garage door rollers is designed for quick and easy installation, even for those without prior garage door repair experience. The included instructions make it simple to replace and install the necessary components." fails to mention the serious danger involved in working on spring-balanced doors. The set I received did not come with any instructions, warnings, or mention of unloading spring tension before attempting to replace bottom rollers. ... show more

A Few weeks ago after seeing the garage door and its current status after almost 30 years since it was setup, I decided its about time to replace all the hardware on my 16ft wide 7ft tall door, I was looking that the replacement for the metal hardware to be on the thicker side or if that is not possible, then to acquire similar in size + thickness as original. I looked for the replacement parts and decided that online was better overall. A kit by "Lajiaoz" had everything included from hardware for panels, new nylon bearings, new screws, door cable wires. Every piece that is on the door, the kit had a replacement for it and its easy to replace with hand power tools. Torque screws were provided too! Each piece also seems well made with good quality, although sometimes if Im going over a drilled out hole already, i would use the old screw so not to make it so wide that it became useless because using the new screws just made it spin without tightening. Overall its a very easy task to do yourself and save alot of money. With kits like these, that have quality parts and everything included, make the job so much easier. It also helps the garage motor and everything else that moves with it, extending other parts service life as well. I recommend this garage kit, your garage will thank you later too! ... show more
