Overall, it does the job as supposed to do, but with some caveats. - Switching to another PC takes about 5 seconds. It is a little bit slow, but I think it is what you should expect from the product at this price. (More expensive products seem to have some additional gimmicks to switch faster.) - Hotkey was more problematic than useful. One problem is just hitting CTRL key twice (even slowly) switches to another PC unintentionally. It happens quite often and wastes 10 seconds of my time every time. Another problem is my application stopped to recognize some key combinations I often use such as CTRL+SHIFT+[P]. I eventually decided to disable hotkey by connecting my keyboard to one of the generic USB ports instead of the dedicated keyboard port. - I figured out that the mouse button combinations (middle + left/right) works just like the keyboard hotkey. It is a great alternative if you have a problem with the keyboard hotkey like me. I wonder why it is not documented. ... show more

Easy to setup. The dedicated keyboard port works great with my back-lit keyboard where others all failed. Switching is pretty fast using keyboard shortcut and very convenient. Tried 3 others that all could not handle the back-lit keyboard. Very happy with this one

It just works, does the job I bought it for. Switches between two hdmi and 4 usb, without any noticeable lag, doesn’t fall asleep, didn’t disconnect. Like I said, it just WORKs.

    • Will pass audio to TV and to amplifier and Decode Dolby digital plus
Works great. Will pass Dolby Digital Plus from streaming services to HDMI. If you have an old AVR that's not 4k but has HDMI pass through this is what you need to send audio to AVR via HDMI and 4k to TV. Digital output cannot pass DD+ only HDMI. Also will pass audio to TV via HDMI and AVR via HDMI at the same time. Great product. Side note. Boot this device at the same time as AVR. Connect it to a switched channel. When left on independent of AVR sometimes will only pass stereo through HDMI ... show more

My setup: -Xbox Series X connected to HDMI input slot -BenQ TH685 Projector connected to HDMI output slot -Vizio 5.1 Surround System connected via SPDIF Optical cord in the Optical slot I tested it with an HDMI ARC cable in the HDMI audio only slot: no sound came out therefore no support for HDMI ARC.     • Gift for the father in-law.
I purchased this as an additional source for my FIL headphones for the TV. Works nicely one minor gripe is it seems very easy to bump the HDMI cold and slight wiggle is needed to seat it again. It could just be the unit I received. So for now I am not faulting the mfg.
