  • *Mostly* everything you'd want, good quality, and cheap
Style: 4000D AIRFLOW Color: Black
So I got this case because my old one (Vivo titan, discontinued, for good reason) broke down finally. I have never known how nice cases can be until now. The design of the case is great, every time I had a moment of hesitation trying to figure out what to do about an issue, it had a fix. Where to put my cables? Above the motherboard has an area, a whole cable bar to the side which also very conveniently hides them, and what is new to me is an area for cables at the bottom directly to the PSU. On top of that, there's included zip ties and a cable holder to actually manage those. What about installation of parts? They include screws for all your hard drives, motherboard, and fans. The motherboard has a semi built in "standoff" in the middle, where it's not quite a screw but a little part that sticks out in the middle to keep it steady to make the first few easier. The hard drive case itself is removable and able to be placed further over if you need more room for your cables (I did as I suck at management.) The screws for side ports like PCI-e are just thumbscrews, you can remove them fairly easily without tools. Not exactly PC parts ahead here, but the dust filters and panels all are very easy. The screws on the side panels have a bit of a thread to make keeping track of them easier, and so you don't have to take them fully off to remove it. The mesh panel for the front takes only 4 little sockets with tiny rubber pieces that pop in or out and a a small metal piece to make alligning the bottom easier. The top, front, and PSU dust filters all have little sorts of tabs you can pull to remove them. The general aesthetic of this case is very clean too, the mesh fits, the yellow accents look nice, and the top dust filter might be my favorite looking part. The preinstalled fans fit with their ends alligned with the circles of the panel so you don't see the rims, and their screws match up with the top and bottom of the slots which isn't a huge touch but nice enough to be noticed. Some people complain about this next part and I can definitely see it on either side but the side panel glass is fairly dark. If you have any RGB's, they're going to look dimmer. I don't have any so I don't care really, but hey some people will and that's valid. You're still able to see everything clearly in my opinion. Now I've said enough good, what about the bad? In my experience, the fans were fairly loud. I ended up replacing them due to that. The panel connectors for the power and all are fairly long, which while good in a way and that one depending on the way you look at it can be good, but in my experience it just caused worse management because I had an extra 4 inches of cord on multiple cords. My only last real complaint here is that the included motherboard standoffs are also pretty cheap. At this price though and the general quality of the rest, I don't mind fans being fairly loud or some screws that are flimsy. They're still both functional, just not quite up to my standards. I would highly recommend this case to anyone, installation was very easy, it looks clean, and just generally contains all you really would need with a new case. ... show more

  • No frills, lots of room
Style: 3000D AIRFLOW Color: Black
I returned a Cooler Master NR600 and got the 3000D. The NR600 is way over-priced for what it is, and it wasn't as wide as I wanted. The 3000D is perfect for my needs. It's pretty bare-bones and has enough room for me to mount an internal ODD on top of the power supply chassis and mount any power supply and air cooler I want. I never cared or thought much about cable management, but it has plenty of room and options for me to do what I need to with the cables. I also like that the front cover and filter come as 1 piece...much simpler...pull off the cover, blow everything out at once, and slap it back on. Con: I could do without the glass panel if it would have saved me even more money over the 4000D. I'm building the thing, so I know what's in it. RGB and glass panels are fads that I'm just too old to appreciate. Overall, a great case for simple-minded builders like me! ... show more

  • Great for my budget build!
Style: 4000D AIRFLOW Color: Black
I originally was just planning on rebuilding the internals as my comp was due for an upgrade. I eventually bit the bullet and went with a full new build. Seeing how I wasn't orginally planning on buying a new tower/case I wanted to not go over the top. My last case was a plain black non glass case and it did fine. This feels like I spent a ton of money on it. As a non PC builder guru, I just wanted a functioning pc. This in combination with some RGB internal stuff I got looks like a solid planned build. I had no idea it would turn out this nicely. As someone who rarely cleans their pc, the removable vents/covers allows me to easily clean the computer without having to take it all apart. I am beyond excited how this turned out and it was so easy to put together. ... show more

  • Very good case; great value
Style: 3000D AIRFLOW Color: Black
Good: Just about everything. This is my first PC build in a few years, and it was pleasing to see that the state of the art has advanced quite a bit. The case is attractive without being garish, lightweight despite the glass panel but solid. Edges are deburred and painted, although there were a couple of rough spots in hidden places which, of course, I immediately found digitally while checking things out. The side panels are ridiculously easy to remove; two fasteners, tip the panel out and slide off. USB ports and controls on the top edge of the case. Two drive bays, which can probably accommodate four SSDs, set crosswise in the case because why not, I guess. I was briefly taken aback that there are no bays accessible at the front panel, but on reflection there's no real need for that nowadays. In their place, the entire front panel can be stuffed with fans if desired. There is certainly no lack of ventilation, large grilles in front, rear, and top (the top is covered with a nifty removable pet-fur and fluff filter,) and you can mount fans in all of them. It comes with one fan each in front and rear. The layout in general is logical and builder-friendly, cables almost route themselves. Comes with a handful of zip ties and a good assortment of fasteners. Very good price for what you get. Bad: The supplied fans are a bit buzzy at full speed. I'm planning to add fans anyway so I might as well replace them. I'm also not a big fan (ha) of the glass side panel, even though that seems to be the style now. I'm not going RGB-happy and turning my rig into a scale-model rave club, so would have preferred an option to get this box with a regular steel panel. Ugly: The shipping box appears to have been dropped rather hard on one corner. It was well-packed, so no visible harm done. Bottom line: Considering that it isn't difficult to lay out $150 or more for a case nowadays, this is a great value. You get everything you need in an attractive, well-engineered package. If they'd used some Noctua fans to keep things quiet when the CPU/GPU get busy, it would be just about perfect. As is, I'm very happy with it. Five stars. ... show more
