I had ordered a smoothie “blender” from somewhere else and I was so disappointed. Immediately came to amazon and after lots of research and reading reviews I decided on this one……I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID! It does everything it promises and has not let me down yet. The only thing I wish were different or added, would be that it could hold and blend larger amounts. It holds a lot with the biggest one but it would be nice to make enough for 2 servings at the same time. Who knows, there may even be an attachment for this already that I haven’t seen and if so…there’s not a thing I would change! Lol love my new blender and highly recommend! Not sure how to clean it, but i've been rinsing the cutter lid and container and havent gotten any milk stuck underneath which is great unlike the other blender that we used for 6 years. Only thing you'll smell is the chlorine from the tap water that evaporated on the inside of the container, just give it a quick rinse and it'll be just as it was before. Blending power if great, couldnt ask for any more watts! ... show more

I really like it but the on-the-go lid needs a larger hole for drinking. That’s why I gave it a 4 star. I have found that if the gears are not lined up just right it will not work: mimicking that it’s broken. (Just move the gear a tad and try again.) I use mine nearly everyday to make protein shakes. I did fine replacement cups and blades on Amazon too. (Which is great!) This blender is used by hand pressure on the bottom of the cup - upside down. There are no on/off buttons or settings. But the power is great. When using don’t take your hand off of the cup just release pressure. (Removing your hand totally while it’s going will cause the gear teeth to wear down.) ... show more

So, takes a few tries to get it going for some reason. Its like the cup/blade doesn't sit in quite right so need to rotate it until it starts up. Recommend following the fill guide as too much negatively impacts the blend.
