I work from home, and find myself with back pain sometimes from an improper sitting position (hunching). I got this to see if this would help align my back by force, as this would be more effective than reminding myself to correct my posture throughout the day. This back brace is very well made, seems very durable, and has a wide range of adjustment. Putting on and using the brace is very simple. Secure the brace around your waist, and then pull the multitude of velcro tabs to perfectly shape the form around your back. The metal bars provide excellent support while sitting but do not poke into you while walking normally. It is decently comfortable as well, providing generous mid-back support with lighter support for the upper and lower regions. This brace perfectly alleviated my hunch habit. It's advised not to use the brace for more than a few hours at a time, but I already feel like my natural posture is changing with dedicated use. I have a marked decrease in tension in my back, neck, and shoulders even after just a few days of use and with more repeated usage, my posture will naturally correct even when not wearing the brace. I haven't tried wearing this around because my posture when I'm standing is not too bad, but when I sit, I have trouble maintaining good posture as my focus is on the work I'm doing. I do try to be mindful of how I sit, but that can distract me from my work. Not having a good chair also doesn't help me in sitting correctly. This product works wonderfully in keeping my back straight rather than leaning forward or backwards, resulting in less soreness from bad posture and sitting in general. I often get restless and not do my work because of how much I don't like sitting from the discomfort, but this back brace alleviates that problem for me and at the same time strengthen my core and reducing the tightness of my hip flexors without feeling like I'm sore. ... show more

This isn’t awful; it simply isn’t very good. I’ve tried two other posture correctors; none has done what I want them to do, which is pull my shoulders back. The lower part does a decent job of stabilizing my lower back, a feature missing in the others I’ve tried. The upper part of this one is no more and no less comfortable than the other two. However, as with the others, it’s far too easy to allow my shoulders to slump forward. No amount of strap adjusting fixes this—it merely tightens the straps under the arms, rather than straightening the shoulders. What’s needed, I think, is an adjustable strap across the shoulder blades. If you want your shoulders back, you need to bring your shoulder blades together. Rather than physically correcting your posture, this serves more as a reminder to straighten up. ... show more
