I am leaving 5 star's because I don't think these lights are the worst, but they are not great and thus will only get read if it is 5 star's or 1 star. So, these things are $10. That being said when they work the color is bright, vibrant, the options are pretty cool, and everything works. I snapped off a light immediately after instalation. I imagine that this would have happened with any strip, but I hit perfectly with my foot and punted the square piece across the room. After I tried to repair it by splicing in new line. I have done this before and it is begging level stuff. I even had the connectors lying around for the occasion. Thus did not work. After giving that up I used another roll and although the installation was successful, we found that by the next day they were stroking and not working. I believe it is the plug causing the issue now, and the lights kind of randomly blink if messed with. I have 2 kids that also jumped all over them. Again, $10 so really I give these 3 stars. ... show more

I bought these in August in 2023 just because they were so cheap. I haven't used them until January 2024, and I didn't expect these to be good. I figured, "$13, the most theyll do is add a bit of ambient lighting. They will barely work and be garbage". But no, they work amazingly. A couple of negetive things. 1) They feel cheap, light, and easy to break. BE CAREFULL when installing them, it feels like one wrong move and that strand of LED's is snapping off. But this does provide one upside. Most LED strips are kinda heavy for the weak preapplied adhesive on the back. But because these are light, they adhesive works well. Be sure to clean the surface you are mounting to before installation. No one does this and then blames the fact that it falls on weak adhesive. 2) I wish there was a way to save LED's in the app. There are 6 DIY buttons on the remote that save custom colors, but as far as I see, there's no way to do this in the app. 3) The blue LED's get dimmer the farther the strip goes. Its especially noticable with cyan and magenta colors. A couple things to note, the led nodes are pretty far spaced out from one another, so it is best used behind a diffuser, but still looks nice when not. Also, the 4 pins where the strip connects to the powersupply do not have arrows indicating pos/neg terminals. The powersupply side does, but not the strip side, so if you unplug it, remember which way it goes back in. These are cheap, good looking, bluetooth, are decently bright LED's. For only $13, give them a go. Oh one more thing, the buttons to change effect speed on the remote are backwards. Faster is on the bottom and Slower is on the top. ... show more

They are super easy to install (my 15-year-old did the last set) and simple to use. The 10-year-old uses the remote or the family iPad to control, and the older boy uses his phone or the remote.
