This is the best modeling clay kit I've seen in awhile. It has a lovely variety of colors, plenty of tools, and a plethora of accessories for making jewelry. It's perfect for kids. I love the container it comes in, and even when I get through all the clay, will definitely continue to use this handled container for crafting. Stacking organizational trays! Locking lid with handle. Sculpting tools, and jewel silicone molds. My #1 hint with polymer clay: put the packet under your clothes next to your skin while you set up your spot. Or fill a lidded ceramic mug with hot liquid and place the the packet on the hot lid. I added some of this brown clay with "Premo Sculpey Polymer Clay Spanish Olive" to make a tortoise-shell effect. Before it would meld it had to be worked and worked until boundaries were very blurred. Don't know if that's because the brands are opposed to each other, or it wasn't warm enough, or they were different temperatures. Two different batches of Sculpey might have fought it out in the same way. I added a packet of this light grey clay to Sculpey Premo Polymer Clay Gray Granite to extend the amount of grey I had and to mottle the skin tone. I suffer from MPD (multiple project disorder) so I ordered this with every intention of using it with a project in my pond. Again, I suffer from MPD. I bought the Tetra Pond Air Pump Kit in June. So I finally got it done -- just in time to winterize the pond! ... show more

My eight year old daughter really enjoyed this set and made many adorable little animal figures. It's similar to many sets out there right now but it came exactly as described and with a really excellent variety of colors. I would highly recommend.
