I love these air dry modeling clays! They were a great price for many, many hours of fun with friends. The clay takes about a day to fully cure and the texture of the dry product is almost like foam (the items end up very light and almost feel like styrofoam). The color variations are fabulous. The tools and extra bags included in the kit are a great touch for making your creations and storing new color blends! I won’t lie I bought this for myself as a 40-year-old woman. I used to love playing with Play-Doh, but I hate the smell and the texture. I’m not enough of a modeling clay person to buy the expensive stuff from craft stores, and I just wanted something crafty in addition to color books to occupy my hands while I sat in the quiet thinking. This stuff was amazing. It feels like cloud dough, and dries relatively quickly. But not so quick you can’t make something. It’s not like regular clay it’s much softer. It does dry quickly. I like how many colors there are and it’s easy for kids to work with. It is hard to get the details in when sculpting compared to regular clay.
