Started with a green mess with sediment at the bottom. Vacuumed to waste first. I still have one more chemical, Algicide, to add. This was in one day. Before and after. It’s my 3rd year using their pool opening and closing kits. Cheaper and just as good, if not better than the pool store’s kits! The instructions were easier to follow. The last time I bought a kit from the pool store, it came with zero instructions! Note: I normally buy a new cover every year and always opened with clear water. First year closing with a used cover. I got this kit just as the trees were starting to bloom and I have to say, I am impressed. I will not be having to take a water sample to the pool experts this year. I only cover my pool with a leaf cover as I am in the south. non heated salt water (summer) chlorine treated in the winter. One step at a time. I did space out the steps to let the filter run the products longer than 2 hours and it still worked just as I hoped. I wish I had known about this company before hand. I love the instructions they are detailed and help so much. Saved me over 200$ on opening. I have a 33k gallon pool. They actually supply the amount needed .
