Very well made. Inexpensive. Easy to use just attach your garden hose. For above ground pools. Easy to clean and has good suction and net to collect debris. Has brushes underneath that turn to sweep up bottom.

I bought this pool vac to clean the debris that falls from an overhanging cedar tree from the bottom of my 15' x 4' above ground pool. I was doubtful that it would work well because it's very small and lightweight. It was easy to assemble and only requires a hose to work. I was amazed at the effectiveness of this little vacuum! A couple of negatives: the pole that comes with it is very short. You have to be in the pool to use it, so instead I attached the pole from my skimmer. It also takes a bit of strength to use as the attached hose creates some drag on your movements. Even so, I would definitely recommend this vacuum for an inexpensive and easy to use way to clean debris from your pool. ... show more

Pros: The scrubber at the end of the suction part is really great for cleaning any stuck-on debris (or accumulated algae) at the bottom of the pool. This device is super easy to snap together and pretty straightforward in getting the host attached. Suction is great and I was able to use it immediately. The connection from the vacuum to the hose was a bit tricky and took a few times. Make sure you attach the connection to the hose first then snap the connector into the vacuum. Cons: I got this little vacuum cleaner to get rid of the algae that fell to the floor (I used a coagulant made for pools to "sink" it to the bottom for vacuuming). The algae immediately broke apart and flowed freely through the mesh bag. I'm going to try to rig up a regular cloth bag and see if that helps. ... show more

honestly, I was very hesitant due to what the product looks like and how cheap it was.. but i bit the bullet and purchased it... I definitely do not regret it! it works so good. my pool stays clean. i may add that since it has to connect to a garden hose it does add water into your pool. - the high your hose power is the more suction the vacuum will have! definitely would recommend. ... show more

Bristles bent inside box. The whole set up fits in a 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 by 10 inch box! The vacuum head is 7 inches by 2 1/2 inches at the widest spot. I think a Barbie doll might be happy with it! For half the price I can get a large and solid vacuum head at BJs. That is exactly what I will do as I am sending this junk/toy back!! I cannot (as suggested) mention suction power as I would not waste my time trifling with this cheap plastic toy on a sectioned pole not even as thick as my finger! Edited to add. My filter will not accommodate a vacuum head. The store shelves are empty. I am stuck with this toy. It is better than nothing. Next season I will have a new filter and vac head. ... show more

Attached to my regular vacuum pole (small pole included) , hose created a lot of suction, did not have to empty bag till done (16 by 44 foot pool) old battery powered vac need many cleanings and a charge to finish. Does look fragile, I will ADD a plastic velcro to butress hose to pole (to prevent twisting bending and breaking). I jusy ordered 2nd one, in case this one breaks, and they quit making these. A little air in the bag keeps it upright, you can see the debris flow in. ... show more
