The media could not be loaded. I installed the film about two weeks ago. It was my first time installing film so I had a learning curve. It went on well and was reasonably easy accept for the trimming part. I learned to use a metal straight edge on the second attempt. The film blocks well and looks good but has a very minor distorted view when looking through it compared to the clear glass. I think it’s the nature of being thicker material and cling not glued. I will use it again on other windows. The price is reasonable and installation also easy enough just have the right equipment as instructed. I have a couple tiny air bubbles that I decided to leave. I have no issue with clinging but I cleaned the window thoroughly before application. ... show more

I will start by saying, the process is frustrating because the product comes rolled up, but it's not a deal breaker. I bought 2 to cover the sliding glass door. i followed the directions, which were super easy, by the way, and it took about 30 minutes total from unrolling, measuring, ti installing. The soapy water is vital. Use it and use a lot. I sprayed the door pretty heavily and THEN removed the film and sprayed the product before placing it on the door. It held on to the door by itself while I was able to squeegee the air/excess water out. I didn't need a second person. I say that to say, it's a pretty easy install. And the results are fantastic! What I wasn't prepared for was how much sunlight it blocks. I open my blinds to let sunlight in, but I'm not a fan of people walking by and looking in. This was my solution, which works exactly as I planned; however, it also works as a window tint. That is the ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars. ... show more

This was way easier to install than I expected. And it looks great! I recommend maybe taking a small m piece and practicing first be for you try a while big sheet. But it really is pretty easy. It’s perfect for privacy while still allowing a ton of natural light in.

he HIDBEA One Way Privacy Window Film offers privacy during the day while reducing glare, but a successful experience depends heavily on your expectations and installation prowess. Pros: One-Way Privacy Effect: Does provide good privacy from the outside looking in, as long as the outside light is brighter than inside. Reduces Glare: Noticeable reduction in harsh sunlight, which can make a room more comfortable. Static Cling: No messy adhesives to deal with, theoretically making installation and removal easier. Cons: Finicky Installation: Instructions could be clearer, and applying it without bubbles or creases takes practice. Nighttime Reversal: The privacy effect reverses at night when lights are on inside, so it's not a 24/7 privacy solution. May Feel Flimsy: The film is quite thin, which makes it easier to tear or wrinkle during application. Tip: Watch online tutorials before attempting installation. Having an extra pair of hands for help makes a huge difference. Overall: This film can be effective if you need basic daytime privacy and are patient with the installation process. Works really well for downstairs dorm room window. I love having my window wide open day and night for my plants and just to get sunlight inside. I left the top 1/3 of my window undercovered and the bottom 2/3 covered with the frosted window cover. I have privacy and sunlight. It's perfect! I recommend having a second person help you out if you're needing a larger section put on your windows as the product can cling to itself and that was frustrating to deal with for a second. But other than that super easy to fit, cut, and stick on. My plants DO get filtered sunlight through the frosted window a tiny bit. The frost also blocks out a bit of heat from direct sunlight which is nice here in Arizona. Definitely recommend and will use again. ... show more

This film is little thicker than the other products I bought early. It is easy to apply or remove. No glue on it so there is no need to clean the window if you don't need it any longer. You just need a better tool to remove the trapped air bubble during the installation.

I've used this stuff before, and It was really easy to put on the last time, but moved country and couldn't get that exact one - and maybe it was because of the size of window we put it on, but it was really hard to get down flat with no bubbles; kept having to re-apply water as we went, and kept having to pull it back and press down - overall took about a half hour to apply - and it's come back up in bubbles all around the edge; so I'll need to go back and put more water on and try and squeegee them out. Next window I have to do, I'll have to order more, but will be ordering a different brand. ... show more
