Fantastic sound from such a compact speaker. Manages to fill a decent size room at 50% volume, and with enough bass to rattle a few window frames. The bass does drop off at higher volumes though, so the speaker is definitely better suited for indoor use, rather than outdoor. I also found that keeping it plugged in to the power gives the speaker a bass boost, which is beneficial - because the battery life isn't great. ... show more

The sound quality on this little gem is bar none in it's price range. By accident this was left out in a MONSOON for 2 days with it's back facing upward for the rains to pour directly into the charging port, I was devastated to say the least. Brought it in, let it dry out for about 5 days not hoping for much. Turned it on today, worked just as good as the day I got it. Would give it 10 stars if I could! ... show more

Did a lot of research ahead of buying this. Am generally an audiophile but was looking for something with a little more thump, waterproof for the backyard, and decent sound quality. While this is technically portable, it is heavy and the battery life leaves something to be desired. But we are primarily using this in the backyard as a speaker and we have plugs outdoors.
