    • Fantastic Monitor at a Fantastic Price with Great Customer Service

So far, I have really enjoyed the monitor. I've been using it as a larger, secondary screen that I hook up to my laptop and it has worked fantastic for that purpose. I bought an external mount for my desk to save room instead of using the stand. If you plan on doing this as well, be sure that you buy short mounting screws or spacers because the screw holes on the back are quite shallow. If not, the stand it came with is perfectly fine. Additionally, if you plan on using this with a laptop like I am, you may encounter an issue where you have internet connection problems, but don't worry, it's an easy fix. What would happen to me is that my laptop would say I'm connected to the wifi but do not have internet available after hooking up the HDMI cable. I found out that this is either caused by different refresh rates on your laptop vs the monitor, or it is a problem with the HDMI cable your'e using. For me it was because the refresh rate on my laptop was different than the monitor, so I just changed the setting on my laptop and haven't had this problem since. If it is the cable, try using a different one and that should fix it. Other than those few things I just talked about, I have nothing but good things to say about the monitor, especially for the price. This really is a great quality monitor in this price range because so many other monitors made by competitors with similar specifications are a lot more expensive. Some features that I like about this monitor are that it can get such high refresh rates and how much I can adjust the brightness from either very dim to very bright. I also like the slim bezels around the screen as opposed to the much wider bezels on some other monitors I've seen. The monitor is also fairly lightweight which is good if you buy an aftermarket mount that can't support much weight. I like that there are a bunch of different ports to allow for different types of connectivity and lastly, I like how clear and crisp the picture quality/resolution is. I did quite a bit of research before choosing what monitor I was going to get, and I think this really is one of, if not the best monitor on the market for this price. On top of all the great features of the monitor itself, the customer service from Gawfolk is great. After my purchase (which wasn't sponsored btw, I paid full price) they contacted me personally to see if I had any questions about the product or had experienced any issues setting up my monitor. I told them that I did not but appreciated that they reached out to me because I don't know of many other companies that would do that. So, if you encounter any issues with your monitor, I know firsthand that they will do whatever they can to assist you. All in all, if you are on the fence about this monitor, don't be, you will not regret your purchase as this is the best bang for your buck monitor I've seen recently. ... show more

    • Nice monitor for the money

My old monitor went kaput, and I needed a monitor that had a DP connection, found this one and took the chance. It is a nice monitor, a bit bright so that blacks aren't as black as they could be, but still within the realm of black. I did need to adjust the color to reduce the blue, as there was a distinct blue tint. As for the folks writing that they measured the monitor and it is 21"...monitors are measured on the diagonal, not the horizontal, so it is a 24" monitor. A quick tip for anyone connecting this via DP in a multimonitor setup, if the monitor shows in Windows as not active, try holding down "windows key + ctrl + shift + B" this forces your video card to restart, which is what I had to do to make windows recognize the monitor and make it work. I ordered 2 of these monitors on a whim & I have to say, they are definitely worth the money! At first, I was like "No way will a monitor that is this cheap going to be great", but they really are. I game a lot, mainly FPS games & have no issues whatsoever. I had an older AOC monitor I was using for gameplay before & I'd hate to say it (because I love AOC), but these monitors feel like an upgrade. I played with the color settings but I still think it’s faded. I plugged it up against a $500 monitor and you can tell black looks black on the more expensive screen and it looks blackish gray on this one. BUT you get what you pay for. Everything else about it is great, including the price. I bought it for my office so it still fits my needs. Also if you need to vesa mount it you need m4x8mm screws (with a washer; without you might need 6mm but I don’t recommend that in case it won’t hold up the screen) . I bought 10mm and they were too big still, and my mount came with 12mm. Nobody else wrote this in a review yet so for those curious now you don’t have to waste money buying all sizes of screws like I did. ... show more

Hey there, I just got my monitor and I want to love it. I may have to send it back though. It didn't come with screws to attach to my VESA mount. The screw size is different than the screws used for my previous Dell monitor. I know I have one female attachment hole that's stripped but don't want to proceed without knowing this specification and ruining the other three. Update: Someone contacted me after this review. They requested my address and sent me screws. They didn't need to do this. It would have been perfectly fine to let me know the screw size as it's different from the Dell size monitor screws I already had. The proper screw size to go into the VESA mount is M4 screws. Half inch length will work just fine. I do like the monitor. It's really pretty and helps me not to strain my eyes with the larger size. ... show more

Pleasantly surprised by the sharpness of this display and how vivid colors and black background when selected. The 1920x1080p resolution and 75Hz refresh make for a stable, flicker free display and it is fast enough to play desktop games and watch videos, local and on sites like YouTube. The display is curved for best viewing across its surface, glare free and edge to edge and very light. The supporting base is stable and allows altering angle of view, but does not have vertical adjustment.
