I had back surgery and was in a hard brace for 4 months. After that my doctor suggested a brace such as this one. I bought it in November and started wearing it at the end of January, 2024. I wear it every day and I am still wearing it and planning to wear until August. Love the brace, easy to put on, easy to adjust and does exactly what you want it to do … but … it is stretched out. It started stretching out in March and I thought I was adjusting it wrong, but it kept stretching out. I liked that it did support my back; however, size and comfort matter. I am 5’2” with chronic back problems, including sciatica. For me, this brace came up too high. Also, my back is very sensitive and could feel the pressure of the hard material.

Long story short, putting a gate in at the country estate and the hoses to the oxy acetylene torch were too short and I had to move the tanks. I did not realize how heavy those things are. The end result is I destroyed some back muscles and it hurt so bad I could barley walk. I bought these in search of some sort of relief so I could at least walk, sit, and move. This worked great.
