I looked for over a year trying to find quality stools with arm rests. I wanted mid century modern and these do not disappoint! I was hesitant to buy anything linen for kitchen stools, but was tired of the "pleather" cracking or ripping. I gave these a chance and they are perfect (so far). They are very sturdy, comfortable, and look great! The height is absolutely perfect for an island counter. The size will accommodate most people. May be a little tight for larger sized individuals. I did spray with scotch guard to help protect the fabric. My kids like them and I'm not concerned at all about them tipping. It took my husband about 20 minutes to put them together. I'm still spending a ridiculous amt of time putting these stools together the screws went into the fabric parts easily like they should but all the metal pieces, and there are many, seem to be stripped very disappointing im no engineer but I know when something is wrong and someone from this company needs to take a serious look at this flaw I don't even know if I like the stool yet because I haven't sat in them after hrs of trying to get them assembled ... show more

Bought six. Love the stools. But, one of the stools could not put together because screws would strip going in the slots. Wrote repeatedly for credit or another chair. All I got was Hi Dear, warehouse very busy, will send shipping notice. Going on two months. Very disappointed Update, received the parts to put last chair together. It worked!
