Wire holds up well, and has enclosed our fenced pasture, so the rodents cannot come in, without digging under it. DOT says to lay it four feet out on the ground, and two feet up. I put it up four railings high, so our insane puppy cannot get out. One foot out on the ground has seriously slowed the rodents coming into our property.
