This was easy to assemble, only few easy steps. Battery does charge quickly, and it does work over one hour. Unit is light weight, not loud, does excellent job bagging or mulching. Love it so far! I do have a snowblower from EGO, and batteries are interchangeable.

Cuts grass like a gas engined mower, even in thicker grass. Battery charges fast. Mulches really well. My only downside is I wish I would have gotten the self-propelled model.

I had to work through EGO (no help there) and Amazon support to get an alternative battery. Battery charged after two hours. I can't wait to see run time after the rain lets up. The battery Amazon supplied had short run time 12 to 18 minutes. The vendor had me ship it to them and then disappeared. Upon thinking back the box was resealed, so I suspect it was not new or someone in supply was tampering with the merchandise. Do not buy from Amazon. ... show more

I really like this mower. It's light weight and easy to use. The attachments are easy to use. I honestly can't tell you about battery life. My yard is so small, I can mow the whole thing in about 30 minutes. My only complaint is it uses a 2 blade system. There are 4 blades and they must be paired up properly, but there are no markings to tell you what two blades work together. ... show more

Overall I love this mower. I hate gas mowers cause I can't for the life of me rember to keep gas on hand My only issue is with wet grass. The grass that stays shaded thanks to my fence gross ridiculously faster then the rest. It's also always wet at the base with as much rain as we have been getting The wet grass gets stuck and jams up the mower CONSTANTLY so I'm constantly lifting it to get the grass out. Regardless of the attachment used. It will do this even if I've already mowed of the grass and just trying to get it shorter. The battery however lasts for the entire yard with still a bit leftover.. it's light weight so lifting it really isn't an issue (female minimal muscle.     • Unbox, Charge, and Go. Easy Operation With Some Issues

UPDATE May 30, 2024: In my initial review, I was pleased overall with my EGO mower. However, I was disappointed in the battery longevity. I was able to get about 40 minutes out of my 7.5Ah battery. It takes me from 50-60 minutes to mow my front and back quarter acre lawn. I decided to purchase a 4.0Ah battery to augment my 7.5Ah. I charged the 4.0Ah fully and then mowed. I was able to get roughly 15 minutes out of it before it stopped with red empty battery indicator. So, I'm, again, a little disappointed. However, if I use a fully charged 7.5Ah and a fully charged 4.0Ah, I can get through the mowing . . . barely. I might have an issue if the lawn is wet or overly long. Also, I noticed a "whine" sound when it kicked into the second stage power. I might need to investigate that more. ORIGINAL: My initial impressions of the Ego electric mower are good. The unboxing was easy. Everything was assembled. I just needed to extend the arms, charge the battery, and then mow. The mower is much more powerful than my previous old Greenworks electric mower. This mower was able to handle long grass with ease. The double blades cut well, but there were clumps of clippings left on the lawn. The mulching wasn't that great, but that could be due to the type of blades that came with the mower. The run time was a little disappointing - especially with the 7.5Ah battery. I was able to mow the front lawn - about 35 minutes and just start the back - maybe 5-7 minutes. So, I was able to get 40 minutes out of the battery. I was expecting 60 minutes and being able to finish both the front and back lawns. But I have to charge the battery to finish the back. I may have to consider buying a second battery so I don't have to interrupt my mowing. Overall, I'm pleased so far with this mower. ... show more

Love, love, love this mower!! The ease of use is fantastic! We have a yard that is 90 feet wide by 120 feet deep. The battery gives us enough power to mow the entire yard and then some. The mower is lightweight, thus making it easy to move. The height of the push bar makes it easy on our backs (as all of us in the house are six foot plus). Again, we love this mower!!! ... show more
