The majority of customers find this lawn mower to be a powerful and efficient gardening tool, suitable for various lawn sizes and types of grass. Users appreciate the mower's ease of assembly, the quick height adjustment feature, and its effectiveness with mulching. However, some users point out the small size and impractical design of the grass bag, along with occasional difficulties in restarting the mower after brief stops.

Should I Buy It?

If you're looking for a powerful, non-self-propelled mower that can handle different grass heights and is easy to maneuver, this mower could be a strong choice. Overall, for those prioritizing power and ease of use at a reasonable price, this mower is recommended.

  • Not what we expected at all.
Style: Push Lawn Mower
We selected this mower for a few reasons. Our old one died. We are older people who just don't have access to haul from the store. And finally the reviews for this one sounded really good. The reviews mentioned this mower starts right up easily with just 1 pull. No it does not! The cord pulls extremely hard and you really must yank several times to get it to start. It also is advertised as a easy mower to use. Easy, ok in the fact there are no bells and whistles (and no self propelled feature). This is a heavy mower that pushes really hard. If you are older with arthritis and other health problems then this machine will feel like it is killing you. When putting together the advertising, consideration should be made that customers come in all ages, walks, conditions and so many more categories. And not everyone has a young person who can help with this task. Truth in advertising is crucial. The catcher bag broke on the 1st use at a corner where there is a weld joint. And the flap on the back to stop things from flying out is breaking off. We will never again buy one of these brand mowers and I definitely don't recommend it for anyone unless you really want a headache. ... show more

  • Great deal on a push mower
Style: Push Lawn Mower
This push mower is pretty great. It's got a few negatives, but no deal breakers. I'm using it for a 0.25 acre lot with a thick lawn that tends to get long. This mower did not struggle one bit to get through it. It's got a powerful motor that made its way through thick grass that would bog down my old mower. It also has a few small, but really convenient features. First, the lever to adjust the cutting height is extremely easy to use and adjusts the height of all wheels at once. My previous mower required you to manually adjust each individual wheel and it was REALLY hard. Second, while this isn't a self-propelled mower, the wheels glide through the lawn as if it were. It is really easy to push and guide. No more having to man handle your mower through corners and tight spots. This baby's fairly light weight, making it easy to transport if you need to. But with everything good, there's always a little bad. In this case, there were 2 things I noticed. The first is the bag. It is fairly small compared to other models (about 30% smaller than my previous mower). On top of that, the angle at which it sits makes it hard to utilize the full capacity of the bag (maybe 60-70%). So ultimately, you're only able to store about 50% of a normal bag's capacity before it needs to be emptied. This unfortunately means about twice as many trips emptying the bag. Not exactly ideal. The second issue is the starter. After sitting unused in the shed for a while, a couple of pushes on the primer and a quick tug on the starter will get you going pretty easily. However, when I would kill the engine to empty the bag, starting it back up wasn't always as easy. About 1 out of 3 starts would require hulk like pulling on the starter before it would cooperate. Overall, neither of the issues is enough to deter me from recommending this beast. It is a strong work horse with nice features and a great price point. I can't speak for its longevity, as this is the first mowing season that I'm using it, but so far so good. You can do better spending more money, but if you're looking to keep your costs low, you can't go wrong with this guy! ... show more

Got this for our yard and I will tell you it's a great mower for the price! Easy to assemble clear instructions on how to start it up for the first time and every time after. Easy to push and doesn't miss any grass it goes over.

  • The height can be adjusted easily
Style: Push Lawn Mower
After searching many sites and types of grass mowers, we decided on this one. The price was doable and we needed a new mower. My husband loves it so far, especially the benefit of being able to adjust the height for mowing the lawn if he hasn't been able to mow for a while and the grass is unusually high. We would definitely recommend this mower. ... show more

  • Bent front wheel assembly
Style: Push Lawn Mower
After I got it all assembled, noticed the front wheel was bent. Runs fine, I like the 1- handle height adjustment. I'm not sure about trying to rebend the axle for cause of breaking it.
