The media could not be loaded. Outcasing material is mostly plastic and the is a vent hole for the motor to release hot air. ice style/shape are bullet shape (small and large). Very simple to use just pour water and it will start making ice. making ice is fairly quick and i use bottle water ( ice came out clear and does not have a funny taste ) Customer service are great, i got mine broken and unit seems to be used because there is no instruction manual inside, contacted the seller and amazon quickly sent me a replacement. So far the ice maker is working great and i really like it a lot. Thanks ... show more

This is a fantastic purchase! We read plenty of reviews so we were aware that the machine makes some noise- similar to a mini fridge. We are very happy with the basket size as well. Ice cubes are perfect for cocktails or just a cold beverage. This size of machine can keep up with 2-3 people making cocktails, so it is perfect for us. Again, we read plenty of reviews, so we were aware that the ice cubes do not last forever, when they melt the water is just recycled in the reservoir. We have been using it every day for a couple months now, definitely worth it! ... show more

    • Breaks repeatedly
Loved the ice but unfortunately it breaks repeatedly. Bought one in Dec 22’ replaced by March 23’ so lasted 3 months and then a replacement was sent but only worked for 6 months. My window closed on replacing so I’m just out 300 and no ice. Unfortunately.

    • Needs a quality of life improvement...
This makes ice very well and consistently and it's easy to use too. My only issue is that you must empty the ice into a container to go into the freezer every few minutes or it will melt and drip down into the water area to be made into ice once again. So basically it's nice if you want to babysit it, otherwise don't buy it. ... show more

Have really enjoyed this machine! The ice is not as soft as I thought it would be but not extra hard on the teeth either. It's easy to clean and start up is easy too. The manual is not very comprehensive but does enough I guess..lol. Had a small issue with the ice maker and the company went above and beyond to help me!! Overall have been very pleased..5 stars! ... show more

This was as described. It is easy to operate and works well. The ice cubes are a little bit wet when you take them out but if you tap the basket a few times it helps, otherwise they bond together in the freezer. Glad we got it, we can have ice made with our filtered water.
