    • The unit works fine for my 300 gallon hot tub.
I like the efficiency. However it doesn’t work when ambient temp is below 35deg. F. I like using my hot tub year round so this was kind of disappointing. There is a hidden menu with advanced settings to change this. I have not been successful finding any information beyond the manual stating this fact. However, if you want to heat a small pool this one will do it with very low power usage. Took about 6 hours to get my 300 gallon temp up from 75 to 100. I think it might take all day for a larger pool initially. It has maintained temp for me very well so far. P.S. both hoses were pinched and leaked right out of package. I had several spares so not a problem for me, but worth mentioning as some may not have spares to fix this as quickly. ... show more

Got it all hooked up and received error code E04. There’s a broken sensor and the heater can’t work without it. With the correct part, it would be a five minute easy fix. Unfortunately, there’s zero information available to contact the seller or the manufacturer. It says for technical support call: XXXXXXXX. Check out our website at XXXXX. Everything is X’d out! So now we have no choice but to return it since we can’t get a part for it. And now if we want to order another one we have to pay an extra $30 because the price has increased since we ordered it a few weeks ago. Again, absolutely nobody to contact to see about getting that $30 increase waived. Not happy. ... show more

We purchased this and installed asap. Right away received error code EL when we looked for customer support the number is xxx-xxx-xxxx same with email. I contacted seller on Amazon and they said send picture of error code. Well it’s just an E and L why can’t they tell me? After no help we went to return and the seller is making me pay to ship back! Extremely heavy! Do not buy product is junk. Update with multiple emails to amazon and customer I finally got them to return but I have to pay the shipping and insurance on it they said. To pay for that was another 170.00! They said if I show proof they would reimburse me . This seems like a lot of work to get my money. ... show more

Read the other reviews if you don't believe me. Constant freezing up even in 80+ degree environments, constant error codes, and randomly shutting off. This thing is a big piece of crap. Do not buy it!

    • I bought the same heater and the ambient temp was 55°f. I don't have any luck build ice .
Easy installed energy efficiency I dont know because I don't see my bill this month and maybe I will return it cause is not working hahaha not even warm water came out so these heater do not work an ambient below 55°f build icy all around the heater.. Really disappointed.

Error message E04 appears on display after running for a couple of minutes. I’ve reduced the delta T also of the in and out temp so it only needs to raise 1deg F but it doesn’t stay running.

Update 4/12/22 Very nice working this out. I would receive a response back always on the next day of my message sent.. Received product properly and fixed quickly. The heater works great now.. it’s small. It can fit about anywhere you need as long as well vented like any heater. They are very good about getting back to you promptly. YES, I would purchase from this seller again. Wiring broke inside. error04 popped up. Looked to see and found wiring totally unfixable. Would have liked to been able to talk to seller. Could have sent the proper item. But since no contact info for them, it has to go back..at my cost? Since defective item and will never buy from them again.. Updated 3/28/22 Got responses back thru emails. They talked to manufacturer to help us solve the solution without having to return it. Got a video (which I’d not needed lol) and replacement part on the way. Thought this solution more practical for all parties. Could have sent it back and then wait for refund then reorder. Just this seem to work for us. Each day since I sent a message, they have kept me informed. Now just waiting for the part replacement. Luckily my husband knows electronics and schematics. Already looked at it and easy fix for him. Will update on product once we fix it. It’s just on of those things..not manufacturing mistake..not product control. I like the looks of this. Very small.
