After getting it plumbed and electrician to add a separate box it was extremely easy to regulate the temperature. The size works great for a 21’ round pool and so happy with it.

Installed myself and it was easy. 6000 gallon in ground pool. BTW, I was debating on 40 amp breaker and 8 guage but went with 30 amp and much cheaper 10 guage. No issues so glad I followed some advice on here and did so. My pool was 85 degrees when I turned it on. It was at 98 degrees within 4 hours. Yeah I know, that's hot but I gotta keep the ice princess of a wife happy. I live in eastern WA so maybe this will allow me to keep my pool open until Halloween... ... show more

    • Arrived not working and Hayward has not helped
Product arrived not working. Made a call to Hayward technical support they took my information told me they would get back to me within 24-48 hours. I called them back a week later they said that they will be emailing me soon. I tried to verify email they said there is no need for that because they will get back to me soon by email. Very frustrating I will be returning it if they don’t help me within the next week. Let’s see if I can bump up there review. ... show more

Did not give me instructions on how to set up and where hoses were to to inserted and routed to .Thank god I called a Dohenys store in Wi. and he told me how to set it up and was easy to set up. The water temp was at 70 degrees but after 24 hours it was up to 81 degrees only turning the heater pump on for 8 hours. Works as it is described to be. I'm very happy. ... show more

    • It works but not super well
Have this installed in a 8000 gallon in ground pool. It’s quiet and massive. Not super effective when it’s 70-80 outside, forget about it if it’s less than 70 air temp. It has to be closer to 85 degrees for this to get the pool water up to 85.

Have only had it wired up for a week, but working great. Had electricians come run the line I plumbed the heater in and it’s running fantastic. Got to 85° within 24 hours. For those with above ground pools, get away from the flex pipe and convert to PVC to make a more efficient use of the pump and heater. ... show more
