Quiet overall I never notice it unless it’s silent in my house when it produces more ice. It has a self cleaning setting so you don’t have to worry about that. Just need to periodically push ice down into the removable tray so it continues to make more because sometimes it’ll stay up at the top and say the tray is full when there’s room for more. Very easy to use! It makes ice quickly. I am impressed with the operation of it. I purchased it for my wife, for her birthday, as prior to getting it, she would resort to purchasing bags of ice. She would use ice to make her smoothies. There were times where we would forget to pick up a bag of ice. That's history now! We can make our own bags of ice, anytime we want. And you know what else? This ice maker really will give u several pounds of ice within 24 hrs!!! In less than 5 hrs, we had filled our ice tray in the freezer. I'm so happy with this purchase!! We live in South Florida and got a water filter attached to the sink; however, the water rarely gets cold, so this ice maker is very convenient. The ice cubes will melt if you don't move them to the freezer when they're done bc as other reviews have stated: this is an ice MAKER not a freezer. It's not meant to store your ice cubes, so if you're looking for a product that does that, look elsewhere. BUT, if you're looking for perfectly crisp bullet ice cubes made within mins, GET THIS RIGHT NOW. Also, saw ppl mention the cube size changing thing the manual mentions, and I don't even think that's a feature applicable to this machine. I don't even understand why it's included in the manual as if it's a viable option. I like the little basket and scoop it comes with. Makes it very easy to transfer the ice to the freezer! We keep our scoop in our freezer's ice box bc there's no handle or anything on the ice maker. Plus, like I said, this is an ice MAKER, not a freezer. Oh yeah, not sure why other ppl included this, but the flavor of the ice is dependent on the water you use just as with plain ice trays. I use filtered tap water and I live in South Florida. This product is a little smaller than what I had before but it does the job perfectly. Ice is ready in about 15 to 20 minutes. The only problem I have is that he ice is in the tray it starts to melt and when I put it in the freezer and the ice is frozen together but easily broken apart. Still love it ... show more
