I mean, as blinds, these get the job done but they by no means are darkening and light clearly illuminates from behind them. They are also very thin and the plastic is flimsy/could potentially easily break. I kept them because they were for my kitchen and like I said as blinds (as in cover the window and outside from inside) they work. I would definitely not buy these for a bedroom though, especially if you want to keep a room dim during the day. ... show more

These blinds were relatively easy to install except for the very small area on the right side of blind where you are able to attach the blinds into the bracket. The bracket is too large to place in the inner corner of window and click into allowable area. It's hard to explain. I had to place the bracket closer to the middle of the blind due to the blind mechanism. Not ideal. They do pull up and down quite easily and darken the room almost as the old wooden Levolor blinds that were in the window before. Room darkening curtains also help. ... show more

I bought the light filtering blinds first for my living room, and they were great and easy to snap into metal brackets. I decided to buy the room darkening blinds from this same brand for my bedroom, but they came with a different kind of bracket that’s much much more difficult to work with. Overall, I’m happy with the quality of the blinds, but I found the brackets extremely frustrating. I spent an hour trying to get the first blind installed and could never get the thing to snap into place. I’m going to try ordering a different kind of brackets separately. ... show more

I'm a bit on the short side, so working on a ladder to install isn't easy, but with a drill and good screw driver, all went well. Very nice blind, does what it says and I may need to replace my old corded blinds with these cordless ones.

Originally I had “light filtering” blinds , but I needed something darker to block out the light. Blackout blinds were hard to find on the size I needed , so I bought the “room darkening” blinds . They do the job for darkening the room , but for entertainment areas , I regret buying this . I’m going to save up and just buy blackout blinds . ... show more

very hard to get blind to snap into brackets.had to call mfg.and get a new clip.2nd order still have a hard time getting the clip to engage. It took brute force buy there in and I'm happy.
