    • So helpful, customized to get the right fit
After I purchased this item the seller reached out to me to confirm measurements. Since I'd never installed this type of blind before I gave measurements and sent photos. I was confused about which measurement to take because where the window sits there's an outer wide a frame and a slightly smaller inner frame and also a window handle I had to contend with. I sent pictures of the inner and outer frame and the measurements I took of each. The seller gave great advice on this and even customized my size at no extra cost. Aside from great customer service the product worked perfectly. I have a little trouble finishing the last couple of inches of lowering but I think that's just because I just got the product and haven't broken it in yet. The option I chose was a blackout blind - although the blind is white - because I wanted more privacy in the area of the house I installed it in and it does that perfectly. I had curtains there but that really didn't match what I was looking for. Also, even though it is for privacy I want as much light as possible coming in during the day and this item pushes all the way up out of the way. I'm really happy with this purchase. The install was simple. I did the inner mount instead of the outer mount although I was provided with both mounts. For the instructions since what is included in the package covers a number of their blinds I ended up just scanning the QR code and watching a video of the install for my specific blinds. ... show more

They look great, however, the string that holds them up in place broke. Please tell me what to do!! I need this info ASAP! A year will be up Dec 4th!!

In retrospect, I would have accounted for their safety adjustment, and ordered slightly larger, but had my measurement been off a fraction of an inch they may not have fit at all.
