I have used black diamond grip tape for a few years and it hasn't disappointed me. Came shipped as a roll, not folded. Very easily pressed flat with some books. My only gripe is the serious off gassing from the adhesive in my tiny apartment. It's just chemistry so no fault of the product but if you can put it in a garage I suggest you do that for a day after opening! ... show more

I make grip tape mosaics for kids and adults. This is my preferred choice for grip tape. it's got good grip. good sticky. and it's a little thinner which makes it easier to cut and apply to the boards I do. b/c it's thinner and not quite as grippy as Jessup I can't really give it the rating of the Best there is. but I don't go through 10 pairs of scissors trying to cut the stuff so it's perfect for my needs. but if you're looking for something that will last longer and have a larger grit count I would prolly just recommend Jessup to be honest. I ordered another one of these last week though and haven't ordered another jessup. so mise 5 stars. ... show more

The grip tape is overall a very good choice but sometimes can be difficult to install as it instantly sticks to the board so if you misplace it or it sticks somewhere you don’t want it to you may end up with that part peeling later

This grip tape is nothing shockingly fantastic... but it is exactly what it is meant to be. I've been riding on this tape for about a week now, and ive noticed it is almost painful when I try to pick up my board. My thumbs and palms are all scratchy from being rubbed from the tape too much. It sounds like im talking bad about it, but in all reality that is what I need the tape to do. Ive even got it cut into a diagonal strip design, and I am not having any issues with pealing or breaking (other than in places where I already anticipated it). I ended up using a lot less on my board than anticipated and still have some left over after using it for other projects where adding grip to a slick surface was needed. It's good stuff.

Decent griptape, nothing too special about it. I enjoyed how it felt, and it had a good amount of grip to it. I used it for a longboard rather than a skateboard, but it still got the job done. It was easy to prepare for my board, and i was even able to make some cool designs out of it. In conclusion, it's a great product that is reliable and can get the job done. ... show more
