These are def a go-to for anyone looking to upgrade/replace their bearings without breaking the bank. If you think Bone's Reds are worth the extra $8-10, then grab a box of those instead. Great bearings for the money. I don’t stop on my board unless I actually want to now. It keeps rolling forever. I put some Bones Speed Cream in them and they are whisper quiet. I haven’t had any issues with the shields coming off myself but they are a little loose. Good value bearings.

I can't speak to spin time with fidget toys or pretty pink wheels. I'm not one of those sort who assume "it spins longer" means "it's a better bearing" -- that can be A factor, but is DEFINITIVELY NOT the only or most important factor in assessing bearing quality. Bearings aren't just to free-spin longer. I'm building an actual machine, not just spinning them with a wheel and saying "cool". My requirements include realistic items such as low vibration at high speed, low play, tight tolerances. Axial play, radial play, and off-axis play are all very low, supplied lubricant is good quality, centering is superb, tracking is superb. These bearings are a fantastic grab for actual service use, if you're unable to wait for an order from a specialty retailer and need a good, stable bearing, fast. A+ ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These are great bearings for the price. Cheaper than Reds and many other branded options. These are much better than any of the cheaper non-branded bearings. Definitely worth the extra few bucks. Game changer when upgrading from cheaper bearings.

*Update* Set two in cruiser wheels seem fine. Set 2 still noticeably not as smooth. Two stars back. Original review: Out of the box, these aren’t as good as Reds. If, overtime, they break in well, then I’ll add back a star. There shouldn’t be a break in period. I bought two sets, put on comparable outdoor soft cruiser wheels. One set was OK, the other was sluggish. QC is an issue. Set two weren’t any better than cheap box store bearings that come with kid’s skateboards. ... show more
