These are my first raised beds as I've container gardener for years. So many good reviews I settled on this company. Instructions were very simple and wood seemed such good quality until I found one of the long pieces, the side pieces had a hairline crack. I just didn't want the hassle of returning. I'll just box it up and seek another brand. Do not recommend. UPDATE!!: I contacted the company and voiced my concerns about the damaged wood. I inquired about a simple part replacement. Customer Service was extremely professional, empathic and apologetic. They did not offer me a replacement piece. They offered a new raised bed, and I didn't have to return current bed! I am floored! I accepted and a new raised bed was shipped! Will definitely continue to buy from this company on a regular basis from this day forward! ... show more

The included assembly instructions were clear and concise. However, read them thoroughly before you begin, to breeze through the assembly process. Working solo, I was able to assemble the planter box in less than an hour, without breaking anything. Once assembled, this planter stand is sturdy, and looks great. It will be used here as an herb/lettuce garden just outside the entry door of the kitchen for expediency while cooking. To maintain the esthetics of the wood, I plan to paint/(stain) the exterior wood with a coating of "food safe" wood preservative. If it works, the preservative should extend the life and beauty of the wood for a long time. I also plan to put a drip of candle wax on each screw head, to seal the screws. I am not sure the screws will withstand the elements without rusting. If you have a better suggestion, I would be happy to hear from you. I am completely satisfied with this planter box stand and recommend it. ... show more

My wife was entertaining getting a raised bed and I wanted to surprise her for Mother’s Day with this. It was very easy to assemble and just looks so good. I’m glad it comes with a fitted liner and today my wife just bought some soil and starter plants !

These are nice, pretty sturdy garden boxes. I just bought 2. The quality is standard. They are not meant to last forever. If I get 2-3 years I would say that would be worth what I paid for them. You need electric tools. I would not suggest hand tools. The boxes have the measurements on the description but I am a little worried that something like a tomato would not grow well because of the depth of the box. Shallow rooting flowers and vegetables would likely to the best.. ... show more

This raised bed planter was so easy to assemble that I was able to put it together in under 2 hours. Goos instructions too and they took care to include a couple additional screws of each kind. The assembled product looks nice and sturdy but since its made of wood I'd expect it to last like 6 to 7 years. Overall recommend this and looking forward to growning all my greens. ... show more
