This launching wheel is designed to enable one man launching of inflatable boat . Constructed of heavy-duty marine grade anodized aluminum. Wheels swivel up and down with stainless steel marine quick release pins when needed . the large Pneumatic 15'' x 4'' tires are good for grass , hard or soft sand, and dirt. CAUTION: The launching wheels is not designed to be towed behind a vehicle.

    • Bolts too short for my boat but got it working beautifully.
My transom was extra thick with plastic on one side and wood on the other so required 2.25" bolts instead. It was also more narrow requiring me to drill additional holes in the supports but once attached, works wonders. I wouldn't transport it great distances but from nearby to ramp is reasonable.

    • Seem to be good wheels
I got my shipment in the described timeframe. I knew from reading some reviews that there were not going to be any instructions, but it is very obvious how to install them. You definitely need to upgrade the split rings, as they won't hold up to any serious use. The other issue is that the bolts are very long, to support all thicknesses of transom, but they end up leaving a long portion of bolt sticking out on my Achilles. So out came the hacksaw, and I just cut the bolts off at the top of the nut. Be sure to use locktite. I might update the review after I use them for a while.     • These are way too good for the price!
The big wheels look a little silly on my classic lapstrake dinghy, but I get a lot more use out of it because it doesn't hurt my back to get it to the water.

    • Functional but low budget simplistic design
I Mounted these on my 13ft inflatable boat. Installation wasn't difficult, but I did have to attach the mounting brackets, they're long, in a location that wasn't ideal because of where the HIN and the Spec plates are located. I discovered this during the initial layout, so I stopped, with the idea that I would return them... The supplier has a no return policy, which I didn't catch during the purchase. I didn't want to waste the purchase so I put them on. The large wheels are nice, and they work well, but the secure pins are a pain in the back side, especially when you're in the water. I ordered some supplies to see if I can make these launch wheels more functional. ... show more

Not happy that there were no directions, good thing my husband is very mechanically inclined and was able to install without them but it would have been nice as the box came very damaged and a parts list would have come in handy to make sure we werent missing anything. ... show more

Perfect for 1 man launching. Personally I think they are a must. Did not come with instructions but anyone with common sense can figure it out and if not then maybe they should choose a different hobbie.

Seem like a great product. Mounting hardware could be better, but, it's acceptable. Added larger flat washers to distribute load across hull. Added a tether to each set of mounting pins to prevent loss in the drink.

Work well. I am stressing them with the weight of my floating picnic table and so far they are holding up. Only downfall is the center pin needs to be disconnected to flip up. Being in the water this could be risky. I will eventually put a small rope or cable on them.
