    • Nice garbage can, but...
So the garbage can itself is really nice. It's a great size...I love the divided chamber for separating recyclables, the sensor is cool and works very well...it comes with batteries (thank you!!) and it's a nice size. Also the design is really nice and it looks super classy in your kitchen. However, the can really, REALLY needs to be packaged better. It comes in a box with a cardboard holder on both the top and the bottom, and hard cardboard shims in each corner to keep the box sturdy. Even with this, though, the first can they sent me was dented. And I mean DENTED - it looked like someone put their whole boot down on the side. The outside of the box was squished too but not nearly as bad as on the inside was. So I returned that...I received a replacement two days later and guess what? This one is dented TOO - in TWO SEPARATE PLACES! One is in the back and it's small so not a big deal. But the other is at the bottom front and there's a small crack in the plastic too. I glued that portion back and am just going to ignore it and you really have to look carefully to see it. Plus I didn't want to go through all the trouble of returning this again and then risking the replacement being even worse. But...this either needs to be packaged a bit better OR don't have the USPS deliver it because they just don't seem to take the same precautions handling big packages as Amazon Logistics does. This would definitely be a 5 star product if not for the denting issue on TWO cans, and I wouldn't have taken stars off if it had been just the one. And overall, this really is a VERY nice trash can! But it's also $92- so I think a little more care overall in how it's delivered to the customer would go a long way. ... show more

    • Motion is pretty sensitive
Happy with the purchase, but the sensor is relatively sensitive. I have it placed next to a door and when anyone goes in or out, the trash opens.

It is a decent size. It keeps smells in. The motion sensor works but is picky when you stand over it. Do not put it in an area you walk through often, it will open every single time you walk by it and drive you nuts!!

    • Separate trash & recycling compartments have de-cluttered my kitchen!
I have a small home, and always used to have a separate basket for my recycling, which took up valuable floor space in my kitchen. The footprint on this item doesn't take up any more room than my last trash can, and yet, both compartments seem roomy. Given my small space, it will open automatically sometimes when I walk by, but that is not proving to be much of an issue. Very satisfied so far. ... show more

    • Lid problems
It worked great to the point where the sun and moving clouds made it open and cloths. Having problems with it working ATM since I changed batteries. But very good product
