I got this March 16 of 2023 and used it about 8 times. Put it away for the winter on a shelf in the back room. Got it out tonight, put fresh oil in it. It will NOT work. I have checked and tried everything!! It will not work! Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe how I feel 😪! Don't waste your money on it! A fry daddy is a better option! ... show more

I don't need that much oil to reach the minimum line, and I was able to fit up to 4 normal sized chicken legs side by side, 3 if bigger sized legs. The timer feature is a plus if I'm doing multiple chores at once. Also remember to dip the basket in the oil for couple minutes before placing your chicken inside it so that it doesn't stick. ... show more

I've wanted one for quite awhile and finally found this one. Love it. Use it a lot. Only thing that I don't really care for is the way the power cord plugs in. It's kind of magnetic and can fall off easily if bumped. Couldn't figure out way it was taking so long to heat up...lol. But I'm keeping it.
