We've had this habitat for over two years and made some modifications for our tortoise's comfort, such as removing the divider to create a larger, unified space. We line the bottom with cypress mulch, which our tortoise loves for digging and burrowing. She enjoys climbing onto her hideout and exploring her spacious enclosure. The habitat is not only easy to clean but also durable enough to withstand her digging without any damage to the base. Pretty solid for the most part. Easy to put together, and sturdy once done. Had a few chips and you can tell the wood is pretty cheap. Also, they completely wrapped the windows in protective film. Meaning, the window in embedded in the wood, so it is incredibly difficult to fully peal the film off. I had to use a razor knife, and still was unable to get it all off. Not a huge deal. My Russian tortoise loves it so far, and the included light hanger is a nice addition. ... show more

We bought two to attach together. It's very light weight fir wood that isn't sealed well so I do worry about longevity a bit but it looks nice. It had a strong odor when it arrived so we built it and let it air out outside for two days, set it up, and my tortoise loves it. I give it 5 stars since it's a cheap option, easily built, and roomy. The latches were super thin and cheap so I didn't install them but other than feeling cheaply made it's fantastic, but it's also cheap for this size enclosure so I feel quality and price even out. I definitely won't buy another if it goes over $120 unless quality increases and it's better sealed. ... show more

This is a very nice enclosure for my 4 month old red foot tortoise. I am hoping this will be big enough for him for at least another 1-2 years. The instructions to build it were kind of confusing, but I ended up using the instructions as a reference and built it by myself. There is a strong wood/cedar smell but I’m hoping that will go away with time. I do think that light pole is a bit too tall so I am not sure if I will use it. Great quality! ... show more

The item came in a damaged box, had splintering parts, unpainted parts, some weird mold or something on it I had to clean off. Got like half a refund on it. Kinda trash all the way around. Product is not worth the money

I really like the double rooms for my tortoise. He has a hot room and a cooler room the clear glass lets me put a camera on the outside to watch him. It took about an hour to put together, but it was fairly easy. I’ve had it for over a year now And will be moving it outside soon
