Got this 150’ hose for the outside of my house. I’m not saying it will last years and years, but right now it’s light, don’t leak, and doesn’t kink. Make dragging a hose around very easy and not stressful. Gonna buy another for the other side of my house

Pros: It's very flexible and much easier to handle because it won't kink easily like rubber hose of the same length. Less bulky than rubber hose so it stores much easier too. Cons: Due to the narrow hose diameter, there is significant pressure loss at the nozzle end. The water stream isn't as powerful as rubber hose with a 3/4" or 5/8". diameter. Not saying the water just trickles out, but there is a definite and noticable difference in pressure which is fine for gardening. For washing bird droppings from cars it takes a little more time. All said, I like the flexibility and ease of use. The compactness of the coiled hose for storage is definitely a plus over my old rubber hose but I do miss the higher water pressure possible with larger diameter hoses. We've used this metal style for backyard use for a few years and it's stored dry during the winter months here in NY and has held up very well. The new one we just received is in constant sun for use in front of the house and will likely stand up better through the seasons than rubber hose will. The plastic nozzles that are included are on the shelf as spares since I prefer metal, heavier style nozzles but the extra washers will come in handy. That all being said, I like this hose. It's super long at 100', but stows in a much smaller space than rubber hose of the same length. It's flexible, sturdy, and aside from the pressure loss, I don't have any other issues with this purchase. ... show more

I have now bought 3 of these this year. I needed something to get down to our lower feild to water. This hose is great, I don't have to fight with the hose as I'm watering, it easily goes with me and is light. It doesn't seem to get tangled or caught up on stuff and no leaks. The hose doesn't kink, that's all the good things. The dia is about the size of fat pencil. If you have 2 maybe 3 plants to water it would be fine. But if you try to run a sprinkler with it,,, uh uh, it's not going to work. If they made one that was 5/8ths dia they'd have something. Bottom line...DONT BUY. ... show more

The nozzle works, but it could definitely benefit from more strict quality control. The one I received had some minor cosmetic damage from the factory. It did not appear to impact the functionality. The selection cap is also a little quirky and it if you don't line it up just right, it leaks out of the edges. It works fine when you line it up, but it doesn't click in as well as some of the nicer ones. Overall, if you need a really cheap option, this will work just fine, but for a few dollars more, you can buy one at Walmart and it'll be just as functional. ... show more
