    • Makes a great mold, nearly impossible to get out...
That about says it all...the mold was smooth and good, and turned out great...however, nearly impossible to remove the mold...three of us struggled over 3 days until my son got the idea to poor water in the mold to reduce the suction. We eventually got it out, but man, what an ordeal.

I feel like removing this epoxy from the mold was harder than trying to replace someone's spark plugs through their tailpipe. Like performing a teeth cleaning through someone's rectum. Like trying to remove wet jeans that had been super glued to your legs. I like the idea of the project but have ptsd from the process. ... show more

This is a great light. When getting it out of the mold is very difficult, we used lotion, and a popsicle stick and then it came out.

    • Great for the first couple of uses.
This makes great lights, but the mold is very hard to remove. A little lubrication on the outside will help roll the mold off. After a couple of uses the mold no longer produces uniform shine. I think this may be because of stress on the silicon due to the difficulty in remolding.

    • The light bases don't work
The mold was hard to get the resin out. The light bases did not work. The only product I have gotten that I did not like.

    • Took hours to remove the Resin!!!!
I don't know if it was operator error or what, but it took forever to get my resin pieces out of these molds!
