I bought this soap base to try out some micas i ordered and its a pretty good glycerin base. It holds color well, as well other additives (i added rose petals in the soap) and they suspended well. My only complaint is the price, I typically buy from Bulk Apothecary and they have similar chemical free glycerin soap for much cheaper for a greater quantity. I was waiting for my order from BA to arrive and couldn't wait to try out the micas so i ordered this base. It lathers well and does not dry out the skin.
