I purchased these micas to use on Polymer Clay I was turning into pendants and earrings. The colors and transitions are beautiful. The mica is a beautiful creamy soft powdery consistency which is perfect for my application. Some mica powders can have more grain to them which does not make them ideal for polymer clay but that's not the case with these; they're buttery smooth powder. The bags of mica colors are clearly labeled and come with a small spoon and brush for easy application. For polymer clay there are two methods of application: you can brush over the top of the clay before baking or mix into the clay while conditioning it. I used both methods of application in the photos. The skulls that appear a lighter blue have the mica mixed into the clay (white) and the darker blue green skulls have the mica powder brushed over the top before baking. The colors are beautiful both ways but the color transitions are more intense when the mica is brushed over the top of the clay before baking. The color I used in the photos is "Gold-Green-Blue". With Polymer Clay if you're applying the micas before baking, the clay will only hold one coat of mica. If the mica powder pigment isn't very strong you'll get a sheer color over your clay; these micas have very nice coverage. I didn't condition the clay very well and have a few bubbles on the skulls that I'll need to touch up with some acetone. I'll see if the mica holds up to the acetone and update later. Great for mixing in epoxy or to paint, the effects on these are brilliant. Only things I'd advise on is to transfer the powder into a different container (small capped container) and find the balance too little or too much powder. Awesome but not much powder for price.

I have every brand of chameleon powder under the sun. There are some excellent ones on the market but they’re ridiculously expensive for 1/2 g These are excellent quality and I get 4 colors of 3g for under 7 bucks. Love it!!!

The colors worked well in my resin castings. I would recommend different packaging. It’s difficult to use/maintain these powders in the little bags. I had to transfer each color to a small little plastic container. The powders were well sealed and came in a little disposable plastic tray.
