  • Super easy and fun to grow!
I’ve always thought I had a black thumb, but these seeds are strong and began sprouting after about three weeks! Make sure you germinate them, there’s video instructions included which make it very easy to do. Left it in a sunny spot and watered once a week. I now have happy little sprouts!

  • Not One Sprout - All Dead Seeds
Waste of money and time. I am growing a dozen varieties of bonsais all from seeds but I could not get a single seed to sprout. I followed the directions meticulously and did research to find the most effective way to sprout these seeds but after a year of trying, I am calling a quit to these seeds and calling them all duds. No stratification or scarification technique will work on them. They are just all dead seeds. ... show more

  • The seeds arrived in good condition.
I will place the seeds in a pot soon...we still have "cool" weather here.

  • followed directions. none grew.
I don't want to be too harsh, as it could just be error on my part. However I did research, watched their video, followed the directions to a T... and nothing. I spend quite a long time trying to coax these to grow something. Again, I could have just got some duds, or maybe I can't grow anything. but this left me quite disappointed. ... show more

  • idk
i probably just didn’t follow the directions close enough it did smth wrong but the seeds never sprouted, i tried multiple methods on how to grow the tree but nothing ever came from it. if yk what your doing then they’ll work but if your new to plants i highly doubt it would work for you

  • Great seeds!
Had 7 sprout within a month! I found that if you file the pit down till you see the seed inside they germinate alot faster. I would suggest that if you plan to grow these

  • It is possible to grow these
UPDATE 5.10.21: Of the bunch that I left in the fridge, 2 more germinated, 1 from each of the solutions I tried. Both were in the fridge for about 2 months. I planted last week, and they are growing very well rn. I now have 4 cherry blossom seedlings. Rest were duds. UPDATE 4.6.21: Still only have the first 2 germinated, but they are growing fairly well. The rest still havent germinated, but im going to give them another month in the fridge before I call it quits. I received 11 seeds, so I initially tried germinating 5 seeds based on different methods I found online. First I tried scarification by taking a blade and trying to make a Crack alongside of each seed. Then I put them in a damp paper towel, put in zip lock, and left in fridge for 4 weeks. None of them sprouted, 1 got moldy, which I tossed. I planted those 4 in peat pellets in biodegradable peat pots. DONT DO THIS. The pots suck the moisture from the soil. After a few weeks, I decided toctry a different method with those seeds, but noticed 1 had actually germinated, which I transferred to a different pot, and it is not a sapling. 20% germination rate. I took remaining 3 and put in a solution of 1 part h202 and 10 parts h20. Left for 3 days, and 1 more seed germinated. I transfer to soil, but it hasn't sprouted up yet. Remaining 2 have been in solution for a week now, and nothing. Might try fresh solution. For The other remaining 6 seeds, I put 3 in 3% h2o2 for 30 minutes before attempting stratification. The other 3 I put in same h2o2, h2o solution for 24 hours before attempting stratification. Both have been in the fridge for a week, so we will see what happens. So far I've had a 20-40% germination rate. I will see what that number looks like after the remaing 6 have been in fridge for a few weeks ... show more
