I’ve been wearing these Ziitop barefoot sneakers for a bit now, and the first thing I noticed is how incredibly comfortable they are right out of the box. The wide toe box is new to me and it actually lets my toes splay out naturally instead of cramming them together like most standard shoes do. It really feels like I’m walking around in socks but with just enough protection from the ground. That being said, they definitely aren't the most attractive shoes I've ever owned. They have that typical barefoot look that can be a little polarizing, and they're definitely a bit of a struggle to get on. You really have to put some effort into wiggling your foot in there, which is a bit of a hassle when you're in a hurry. However, once they are actually on my feet, I barely notice them because they’re so lightweight. If you value comfort and foot health over high fashion and ease of entry, these are a solid choice for daily wear. I’m a female, I just sized down from the men’s sizes. I use these to walk on my treadmill and it’s just so damn comfortable!! Good deal for a comfy shoe.

The shoe construction is ok as is the sizing. It is wide as indicated about an E width, however I found it does not breathe well and left my feet hot and sweaty. The fabric is of a heavy two layer construction which might be ok for normal or non sweaty feet but I definitely could not wear them. Construction otherwise is fairly good with a padded heel area critical for a secure foothold.

These are truly minimalist footwear. I'm giving 5 stars, because they are what they say they are: comfortable, zero drop, "barefoot", shoes with a nice (very nice) wide toe box. I like them a lot, and if my feet were better at barefoot walking, I would wear them all the time. Sadly, I need "cushioning. These are not intended to be, and are not, well-cushioned -- nor should they be given the description. That said the foam insoles are better than most -- that's where the arch support and comfort comes from. The shoe itself is entirely flat and made of the soft, flexible rubber you see in the pics. I particularly like the minimalist style. You look down and feel like you have smaller feet (which is great if you have big feet!). They are pretty perfectly sized; 12.5 is my exact size, and they are spot on. Ultimately, I would like shoe manufacturers to make these same shoes with about 1 inch of cushioning. That way, you have the best of all worlds. But since these are SUPPOSED to be minimalist, barefoot shoes, they get 5 stars for executing that goal with aplomb.

Very breathable, and I just found out, quick to dry. I wore these on my recent camping trip to the beach. worked great, i mean great for walking on the beach and in the water. I could feel the water running thru these shoes. I could feel the ground more. A few hours in the sun after walking in the ocean and they were dry. Insoles are removable. Not glued in. Sizing was perfect. I ordered a 9.5 and that's what I got. Perfect fit I never found these to be slippery. even wet and in the camper. Easy to wash These are good if you want barefoot experience with some protection. -Scott

These shoes are exactly as described - a minimalist barefoot style shoe. My husband generally wears more supportive shoes, but he also prefers a wide so I figured I would give these a try for him. They're definitely wide enough for him, though he does report that the 9.5 feels a tiny bit short and thinks he might have been a bit more comfortable in a 10. If you're used to wearing minimalist shoes, you'll love these. If you're used to more supportive / structured shoes, you may find these tough to wear all day or for a lot of walking. My husband plans to keep these on hand as his "nice" sneakers. He doesn't love the insole. The arch support hits him at a weird spot and under the toes has a pebbly feel that he said makes him think he has something in his shoes. We will likely replace the insoles with something else. Currently priced at $40 which seems reasonable to me given pricing on comparable products.

These are good shoes. But as far as the highly touted “wide toe box” goes, geez, I don’t know. It appears to me to be an *elongated* toe, not necessarily an extra wide one. There’s more room in there, making my size 9.5 shoes feel more like a 10. I’m a bit afraid of tripping, quite honestly. Width is something very different than length and it seems to me like what we have here is extra length. That being said, these are good “zero drop” shoes, which simulate - in a way - what it feels like to not wear any shoes at all. They are comfortable, breathable and well made. If you find that you still need some arch support, you can always add therapeutic insoles, but that kind of defeats the purpose. It also may place your foot too close to the top of the shoe and it may rub against you. Just buy different shoes if you’re looking for arch support! Pro tip: don’t do anything you’re not supposed to do while walking in these in the mud or on a beach. The distinctive lightning bolt pattern on the soles will make it very easy to identify you when the authorities come looking.
