The media could not be loaded. Take your time in decorating! The small, delicate wires can get tangled in each other pretty easily. I stretched the entire line out first. Then wound the lights in the wreath ball. After it got dark, i turned it on and made adjustments to space out the LED’s. The attached video is on full brightness and it was set to cycle through all the things it does (which would take about 5 minutes). We had to hand it out back, as we were afraid it would have grown legs and ran off late on night! It is hanging off hardware that is attached to our house for our Sunsetter shade. The UBS plug is protected from the weather. :) We have only had it for a day, I will update it anything goes wrong, but with LED’s I honestly don't see any issues. The light patterns (jump/fade) only work with the multicolors, you cannot use those features with any solid colors. The “white” light is a shade of blue, not a true white. Finally, the instructions are ridiculously written and make no sense. Battery life and durability are yet to be determined. So far, they’re OK but I’ll look for a nicer set the next time I want a set of lights. ... show more

I really like this light set. The strand is very long and was able to do the entire tree. Since it comes with a USB connector I was able to plug it into my wall port and save on batteries. The remote control makes it very easy to turn on and off and it has a 6 hour on 18 hour off timer. There are a lot of light choices, my favorite is the slow fade. One thing however-even though it has a button for white the white lights are really a little bit more of a pale blue than white. I tried to upload a video to show all the different lights as they change but it wouldn’t go. I can’t rate durability, since it’s brand new. ... show more

I love that these lights provide different colors! They would have received a 5 star if I could have had all the colors shown on the remote. Unfortunately, the orange only came on the first time I clicked them, but now they are a multicolor (no orange) that I can choose for fall colors. Wish the orange worked. The colors other than orange that don't work: yellow; the whole line of green are just one shade of green; and the whole left hand column are multi-colored but not what's shown (except there is one pure red). Despite their inability to create most of the colors on their remote, the ability to change colors and even get multicolors at one time are their lifesaver. I enjoy these lights. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I recently did a makeover to my room and decided that I wanted to put up fairy lights. I found these lights and thought they were perfect. I purchased them on MAY 10th, they arrived MAY 15th. I hung them up, put the batteries in and enjoyed my lights. The next day the batteries were dead, lights were not as bright. I changed batteries and the lights were okay for that day. KEEP IN MIND; i only turn these lights on at night for 1-2hours before I go to sleep. A few days later i noticed the same thing, lights were very dim, you cannot see PINKS BLUES PURPLES WHITE even during the transition options (FADE, JUMP) the only colors visible was YELLOW RED GREEN. I changed said batteries again and the lights were fine but only for a few hours. I changed them one final time and the lights have not improved at all since I changed them. I never usually write reviews like this but it is ridiculous that I have changed these batteries 3 times and I have not had it for a full week. Im not sure if batteries need to be changed everyday but if so that should be mentioned in the package or description. ... show more

I like how easy it is to use these lights, even gently bending the wires to fit on a small branch causes no issues. I've hooked one string up to a very cheap power charger and it works beautifully, lights stay on for about 10 hours. The other string operates on 3 AA batteries, and doesn't seem to use much electricity--have only changed those out once in 2 wks of shining the lights for 8-10 hrs/night. Now, the remotes don't work well and will not turn the lights on or off, but will let me change them from steady to fading multi-colors, so the remote is the only flaw I find with these. (I got my first string on Cyber Monday, so paid about $5 less than for the second string--I waited to see how the first lights worked before buying a second string--next time I buy from this company, I'll buy both when they're on sale--and return them if I don't like them, instead of waiting--I just don't like to return unless it's absolutely necessary.) ... show more

Our family bought 4 of these initially, all 5-star rating across the board. Because we were so happy with the product, we changed the location we used these and needed one more set of lights as a result. Bought this and it is for this order, the final set of lights purchased, that this review is mostly for. This piece is so much dimmer than the others, almost like a smaller LED light was used. Looks odd when placed with the others, and debating if I should seek a replacement. Except for the mismatch in brightness compared to the others, this is a nice light. If this set was identical to the other 4, this would be a 5-star review. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. When our revolving train station to our favorited Christmas Village died, we found there was absolutely no way to fix it :-( To say we were heartbroken is the least we can say We used it for a while year with no lights or movement and it just wasn't the same, we tried to figure out how to fix it again and sadly no way in to get to the motor or the light. We almost threw it away until we saw these lights. This was our last attempt to save our beloved train station and I am happy to say it worked great.
