Needed to have a little my space in the home office that had cat nail proof material. This is a uncomplicated modern style futon. Easy 15 min assembly makes a very rugged but functional piece. I was skeptical from the low price but now very pleased.

Uncomfortable as a sofa & incredibly uncomfortable to sleep on as a futon! It looks ok, so if you just want something to fill up space this is for you. However, if you want to, i.e., lie on the sofa & watch tv, your hip will likely fall right in the middle crack & hurt. It’s not very wide so you may have a hard time staying on it. When it’s folded out as a futon there’s a huge indentation in the middle running the length, & also in the middle running the width. Oh, & the back cushions are thicker than the seat cushions so that causes more unevenness. Try sleeping on that! And, when it’s folded up as a sofa, it will need to be at least one foot from the wall because that’s how wide the sofa board is back there. ... show more
